Erk.. I’m lazy to explain but let me just tell you that I had the BEST and most filling dinner EVER last night. It was getting late so mom decided to go Kogetsu Japanese Restaurant at Hyatt Saujana for dinner. That would be great. Sister drove us so I could enjoy the beautiful sunset. I didn’t mind staring at the glaring sun for the very first time as the scenery was very captivating. The shot I took wasn’t very clear but don’t expect much from an intergrated VGA camera of the phone.

Looks like the sunrise from Chronicles of the Riddick instead

Boo hoo hoo. Coconut trees, makes me dizzy

Four of us (mom, sis, bro and I) had 2 plates of sake sashimi, 2 plates of gyu teriyaki, 2 plates of saba shioyaki, 1 plate of tempura moriawase, 1 plate of ebi tempura, 1 chawanmushi and 1 bowl of niku udon. The amount of food we consumed were doubled up for some odd reasons! Got there around 6:15pm and this young waitress seated us before handling out the menus. After that, I could only remember us ordering food non-stop and we actually managed to finish all of them. OMFG… Voracious family.

But of course, the bill finally came and it was twice the amount as well. It could’ve been RM120+ but then all the servings have been doubled up so the total amount was RM266.*Growls*

Was supposed to get my hair cut this morning but then I woke up at 2:30pm instead. Boo hoo hoo. Thank goodness not any later cause dad came home around that hour and he would’ve slain me if I was still lying on my bed. Accompanied mom to Carrefour Hypermarket for grocery shopping. Mom wanted to cook Tom Yam soup for dinner but then new furnitures shipped in and kept my mom occupied during the whole evening. So we ended up eating in Esquire Kitchen at Subang Parade instead.

Ohohoho. And since we were there, I decided to go check out the new Toys R’ Us located at the top floor. That location was previously a food court but I guess they’ll be moving it to the lower ground floor. Still the same old concept but I guess the stocks available are much up-to-date and it doesn’t look so rundown anymore. I’m surprised on how much of the toys have changed over the past decades.

During my brother’s time, it was Transformers, He-Man and Star Wars. Moving on to my time are Legos, Jurassic Park, Alien and Jurassic Park. Now… all kinda weird creations and plastics being played instead.

Speaking of Legos, I walked a few rounds and stumbled upon this rack with all Legos on display. I smiled. Thinking of the olden days where I practically grew up with Lego is just wonderful.. Unfortunately it’s no longer a cheap toy to play with anymore. Even a small box with few Lego bricks would cost you RM20 at least. What the hell man? Money doesn’t grow on trees! And this, resulting in the younger generations to get indulged in electronic gaming..

Hahaha, I’m considered lucky having spent half of my entire life playing Legos and the other half getting myself into the cyber world. At least I had a taste of how it’s like to build something out of the bricks and then wreck it the Godzilla style! ROARRRRR~ I remembered stamping on my sister’s Lego Shell Station and causing her to lose a few bricks. Muahahaha. Now you know how I got the nickname “Destroyer” from my relatives.

Damn, this is so full of crap. Gotta go now. Take care and bye.

Damn. I stayed up until 2:30am last night only to find that the semi-finals of Euro2004 will be played tomorrow night instead. Argh! Dumb me. Played Winning Eleven 7 on the PS2 for a while before going off to bed. Now that all the big teams are out, leaving Holland with Portugal struggling while two underdogs out to create history for their country. Of course, with great success comes great expectations.

And it is also reportedly that Manchester United is willing to sell Van Nistelrooy for Wayne Rooney from the Everton Club. I don’t know how true is that but we’ll see. English Premier League 2004/2005 fixtures are out so you football fans might wanna check it out if you haven’t do so here. Manchester United will be playing against Chelsea in the first day!

Had steamboat with parents the day before yesterday at Kepong. That’s the only place where you can find steamboats and nothing else. Dinner was delightftul. I suggested having steamboat at home weeks ago with my friends but then considering the price here and the location, I guess I’ll bring them here instead for a mini party. 3 person with lotsa crappoz for only RM76. Not really expensive and Kepong isn’t far away from here too.

I’m tired. Will be transferring my archives from the old blog to Fractionize. I need time to type in every single journal entry I wrote back in National Service. Hopefully to get it done by coming week. Transferring Drivel to Unlinked server is also pain in the ass. Ran into problems but nobody knows what could be the reason of the forum’s malfunction. So I gotta do a fresh installation of the forum again. Tsk.

I had the worse nightmare last night! Freaking hell scary. Never get yourself indulged with too much of horror games. The consequences can be a little… terrifying. Will blog about this later on.

Thanks everyone for the comments in my previous post! Good day.

Supper In 9 Minutes For Slackers!

Ohohoho. As you know, Euro2004 will be on for another week and most of the matches kick off in the wee hours of the morning. Fast food restaurants are obviously closed but trendy mamak stalls will do quite a good job for supper, that is if you have a car to drive or someone to carpool. If both the choices aren’t available, or that you’re just too lazy to go out, there’s always instant noodles to feast on! Don’t worry and read on, cause this guide is absolutely 100% idiot-proof!

Therefore I came up with this guide entitled Supper In 9 Minutes For Slackers and I really do hope it will play an important part in the daily life of a slacker like me. Don’t have to force those dry breads down your throat and munch oh noisy biscuit crackers that will wake your neighbours up. Read this up and get your buttock moving! Make something useful out of yourself for once!

1. First of all, safety always comes first. If you are feeling unwell, do not even attempt to cook as it is very dangerous! I know you’re very hungry but then please do not hurry. Take your time and the outcome can be very satisfying, especially when you manage to cook your own supper for the very first time! Make sure the kitchen is well lid and don’t play with fire!

2. Now these are the main stuffs that you need - a bowl, a pair of chopsticks, a pot and obviously a packet of instant noodles. Do NOT use plastic chopsticks as the intense heat will do permanent damage and chemicals could pollute your supper as well! A spoon is optional but then you don’t wanna pour those ajinomoto soup down the drain just like that, do you? Oh, and matches or stones as well. You can never cook without fire.. Stove or coals, whichever one.

3. Alrighty! Everything set? Great… Now move on to the next step. Fill up 1/3 of your pot with clean and filtered water. Never use waters running from the tap cause it’s managed by not-so-Indah Water Sdn Bhd. The amount of water needed varies but since I’m cooking Ramen Noodles here, I filled 1/2 the pot with water instead cause the serving is larger. Once you’re done, move on to the stove and then heat it up.

4. It’s best to cook the water a little bit before putting your mee into the pot. Just wait for about a minute or so and you’ll see little bubbles start surfacing. Great, now dump those hard bricked mee inside and the cooking begins. You can always speed things up a little bit here by putting on the cover so that the heat contained will soften the mee a little faster than usual. Otherwise, just leave it and continue watching Euro2004 but make sure nothing else drops inside the pot for extra flavorings.. You get the picture…

5. Just when things start to get a little hot, pour all these ajinomoto powders and weirdly-preserved dried vegetables and shredded mushrooms (Only available in Ramen Instant Noodles) and start stirring it with your chopsticks. Keep stirring and stirring and pick out a string of mee to try out in every 1 minute. It depends on your preferences but I recommend cooking it a little longer so the mee doesn’t gets too hard and not too soft either.

6. The picture shown above the dustbin is a sample of how things are going to be like when your supper is all looking good. Also, remember to be responsible and dispose plastic wrappers in the proper place! At this point, you can always wipe the table first and get yourself a drink while waiting for the mee to cook.

7. Once you think the mee is ready to be eaten, turn off the gas of the stove or put out the coal fire that’s burning and slowly pour your supper into the bowl, not onto your hand! The picture that I took isn’t a very good one cause I placed the bowl on the edge of the basin and I wasn’t holding it on the other side. This is risky cause the momentum created as your pour the mee will move the bowl and then *POOP* it’s all over the floor. So.. remember!

8. Finally! Your supper is readied in 9 minutes (Usually takes more time during first attempt) and enjoy while watching Euro2004! Even a slacker like me can cook my very own supper, why can’t you!?

France is going home! France is going home! France is going home!
Greece won 1-0 against France with a header from Angelos Charisteas to put them through into the semi-finals.

Okay time to sleep. Gotta wake up at 10am for breakfast together with Eugene and Vincent, who I think is currently in deep shock after France’s defeat. Hehehe!

The remaining pictures taken during National Service have already been uploaded. Many thanks to Joel for the pics that we both took using his Canon Digital IXUS II. I had a really difficult time picking out the nice pictures out of the 700+ that we took. I can’t be uploading all of them here cause I need to save my webspace for something else in mind *Grins* As being promised, pictures are available for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

England is out of the competition, after a dramatic match against Portugal this morning. The final outcome may be a little disappointing but I guess this is the most entertaining match that I’ve ever seen throughout Euro2004. England having to work so hard to retain the early lead with a stunning backflip from Owen was all but cancelled out 7 minutes before full time with a header from Postiga.

Extra time was breathtaking, and no doubt about Rui Costa’s goal being the finest goal in the competition. It was sheer sublime. David James couldn’t do anything about it as the ball struck the goal post hard and then into the goal. I was flattened and could hardly continue watching until Frank Lampard’s superb equaliser came in. There was still hope for England until penalty shootouts, in which Portugal won 6-5. Ricardo emerged as the hero after Darius Vassell’s shot was well taken care of and later scored the winning goal for the hosts.

Boo hoo hoo.. Dad stayed up throughout the whole match to accompany me but then he was making so much noise about England players not being at their peak performance. Argh! I was so frustrated. Came online and Eugene as well minutes later. Hehehe! So we both released our rants everywhere and then off to sleep. Boo hoo hoo..

I just noticed it’s a Friday. Went to Club 7 last night. Met up with Husni, Timothy and surprisingly Vincent was there as well. Played few games of foosball and then headed over to the Mcdonalds drive thru for supper together with William. Came back home and uploaded the pictures into my photo album.

Ohohoh! Okay time for TVB Drama series. Bye for now.

Edit: Woohoo. New layouts over here and here.

Oh my. Took me about an hour just to pick out the nice pictures taken during National Service and then upload them here in the photo album. I’ve only uploaded 96 pics out of the 433 pics that I took during the second phase of NS in UiTM Machang, Kelantan! That’s like merely 1/4 of the total pics and there’s more to come as I have to resize the images that Joel took back in Kem Tangok. Will be uploading the rest later on… and now, time for Euro2004!

Enjoy the pictures and take care. Bye for now.

Oooh tired. Just came back from KLIA after a long stressful drive. Dad called home earlier today and told me to pick him up at 8:15pm but then he touched down in KL at 7:15pm instead! I wasn’t sure if I heard him wrongly cause dad called at about 12pm this afternoon and I was still sleeping! So I decided to drive mom along and goodness, the traffic jam kills. I practically spent about 25minutes stuck in front of the Summit USJ and my bladder was on the verge to explode! Drank too much water for dinner *Growls*

Made a pit stop after the first toll to relief myself. Ohohoh! This is the second time I drove to KLIA and ‘ accidentally’ broke my record of 110km/h. The highway was pretty quiet tonight but I have no intention in driving so fast at 140km/h as I wasn’t paying much attention to the speedometer during that time. Mom woke up from her nap and then nagged me for 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Hehehe!

Woke up at 3:30pm this afternoon. Erk. My bio clock is all screwed up. Came online and added another few links. Wanted to work on a new splash page but then mom asked me to walk over to Carrefour and get her something. Okay, I’m fine. So I did and came back home, only to find that I bought the wrong stuff. Mom asked me to get hamtan but I bought the peitan instead. Argh! I made myself having to walk to Carrefour two freaking times. I don’t know what peitan is anyway.. Cis!

Done. And I was all sweaty. Freaking weather makes my skin so sticky. The haze has shrouded the deep blue sky and there wasn’t sunshine at all! So we are highly advised not to go out without any apparent reasons cause such polluted air will only deteriorate your health and immune system. I could hardly see Summit USJ from my place anymore with those thick dust floating in the sky and reducing our range of view.

Sigh, oh well. I’m supposed to meet up with Husni and Timothy at Club7 but then nobody picks up the phone! I didn’t want to go there only to find that those two FFK. Should I go, or should I not? I’m hungry by the way so I was thinking of driving out to the Mcdonalds Drive thru to get myself something to eat. Kekeke!

Will be uploading the pictures taken during my National Service so watch out for this space! Gotta go. Take care and ciaos.
