Ack. I guess I hadn’t been resting much ever since college started. I’m like so deprived from sleep that my eye bags are so obvious right now. And I never like going to the toilet in the middle of the night cause I usually mistaken myself as a zombie upon looking at the mirror. =.=; Time to get my biological body clock back working once again, and get those brain cells functioning!

Nothing much happened in college for yesterday. It was the last day of the orientation week and I finally got to meet up with my classmates. Really cool guys and hot girls. Hahahah. I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t looks like 18 years old. Left the campus at 12:15pm after a rather interesting conversation with my lecturer.

Had lunch with my mom at the Yew Sing coffeeshop before heading back home and slept for 5 whole hours. I was damn freaking tired. As I said earlier on, I’ve not been sleeping much lately. The dark circles around my eyes make me look like a skinny panda right now. *sob sob* Got up at 7:00pm and washed up. Went dinner and then back home.

To sum everything up, it was a bloody boring day. *Growls* Went yum char with Eugene at night and played soem foosball. Yesssss….. It’s been so long since I last laid my hands on one of those rods. Hahaha. Had three good games. Started off with a single player game. Got thrashed 3-6 but I’m satisfied with the outcome, considering I’ve stopped for almost 2 weeks. Then Eugene and I paired for a 2 on 2 game. Won 5-4 and therefore, we got to stay for one free game. *Grins*

Went to Pyramid today with Eugene again and watched I-Robot. Not a bad show but certain parts seem to fake… Well, not like the show’s being shot in places that really exist in this year but the CGs are way too… unrealistic. Overall, I would give it a rating of 3/5. More movies to look out for the coming month of August! Gotta save up for movie marathon and lots more happening events! August’s gonna be hone hella busy month… and not to mention, I’m FINALLY turning 18. WOWEE!

Met up with my National Service friends and then came back home. Had steamboat for dinner, in conjunction with my sister’s birthday. Hehehe. Happy birthday, that is, if you’re reading this lah. Ohohoho. Daym, and I promised to upgrade her PC specs so that she can go online anytime without having to come bugging me for 10 minutes of PC usage. Gonna set up a wireless home network. Help needed.

Blah. I’m all exhausted right now. Continue blog tomorrow. Ciao.

Good morning Malaysia!

July

Woke up late today, about 7:15am with minor headache and tummy was all growling non-stop. Was damn exhausted last night that I actually slumped onto the bed at 10:00am and slept like a log- Earliest ever since college has started. Usually it takes me about an hour or so just get sleepy before dozing off at 2:00am. Yesterday was the longest orientation day, and I would say that it was one of the best days ever throughout the whole orientation week.

Wednesday kicked off with a slow briefing and an introduction to all the student embassadors who willingly woke up at 6:30am in the morning just to manage the big bunch of us July intakes. Edmond, who happens to be my group assistant leader in yesterday’s activities, kept the speech short and simple. AMANDA, the name of the student here in LUCT who is currently doing her Mass Comm. Semester 7. *Drools* and lots more *Drools*

We were then given instructions on how to group ourselves into 10 teams (I think). Each person’s back has been pasted a paper with a name of a flying species. Mine’s dodo, and guess what? I’ve never heard of such bird species before! That’s a little embarassing. Then we had to look for a partner that will do the explanation and describe the name of the bird. So Edmund (Not Edmond) was like… “Neh… the one people usually use to scold others. Something to do with stupid… Idiot” I was still blur so Edmund decided to tell me the name which he wasn’t supposed to. Cheaters caught will have to stand on the stage. Hahahaha!

That was so shitty. True dodo I am. Then we began searching for the same species and that’s how we actually grouped up. Not a bad idea I guess, although it sounds kinda silly. Each group came up with like 15 members or so. And you know what? None of the student embassadors were actually asked to be the group leader for team Dodo! That was damn sad… And Edmond announce through the mic.. “What? Dodo no group leader? Who wants to volunteer then?” Everyone else was laughing at our team.. *Hides face*

Waited for like 5 minutes before a guy with broad shoulders and sharp features on his face approached us. Not a bad fella, with a sense of humour and most importantly very sociable. He can just strike a conversation with anybody regardless of what they are (meaning, male of female), and the courses they’re taking. Vicky’s his name, and comes all the way from Pakistan. Nice guy, with so many things to talk about.

Edmond came minutes later and joined our team as assistant. Another fun guy. In fact, I think ALL of them here in LUCT are easy-going, outspoken and sporting! And no, they gives no rat balls on who you are and where you come from. They swear right in front of you, and a lot. Believe that. I guess most of us are actually enjoying every single moment here in LUCT. The people here are sociable which makes you feel that gaps don’t even exist, which most of the time being caused by the age difference.

Next on, we had hairstyling competition whereby each team will have to choose a male and female model and then come up with a hairstyle that is capable of influencing the rest and makes them wanting to have the same style. It was pretty fun. We had Albert to be the male model and Mischell for the female. Right after that, a simple catwalk on the stage and a presentation. Hahahaha.

Had our lunch at 12pm and this time I tried the claypot chicken rice. GROSS! YUCKY! It was so dry and the rice’s still raw. The chef didn’t cook it properly cause I guess he was hurrying. Insufficient water so that’s why the rice turned out all hard and… tasted a little burned. No good no good. And flies over here in LUCT is such a total nuisance. Where in the hell do those flies come from!? It’s like so many of them!

We also had to come up with dance performance on the stage right in the middle of the MDTC. Oh my goodness! So freaking embarassing. It’s been such a long time since I last performed on the stage.. That was like 3 months ago, when I had to make a fool out of myself on the stage back in the National Service. However, we still managed to win the first prize for our crappy performance though.

Anyway, back to the dance performance… We had troubles deciding on which song to dance with, and the songs are very limited. We tried looking for suitable songs at the DJ booth but none of them seems appealing. Mostly RnBs and no, we can’t freestyle. Most of them in my team can’t even cope with 3 simple steps, what more than hip-hop or pop music? Took us 2 whole hours just to come up with 5 simple steps and we chose “Ja Rules- Clap Back” (something like that) So what we did was… clapping all the way till the end. Hahaha ;P

Other teams put up some rather interesting performances, from break dances to freestyle and Mr. Bean style o.O; All these lasted for one hour before we finally get to have FREE dinner using the coupon that was distributed to us earlier on. The results for both the dance and hairstyle competition were announced at 6:50pm and they were given prizes such as organizers, portfolio bags, leaflets, car stickers and Peacevolution CD.

I was already all drained up by then so I didn’t care much who the winners are. The winner of the dance competition was asked to dance again but then everyone started leaving so it was later canceled. Hahahaha. ;P Drove back and reached home about 7:15pm. So freaking tired that I had to drag my feet and crawl the way up back to my room. Showered and straight to bed.

Thought I was going to sleep all the way till morning but then Sarah suddenly called. Hehehe! Boss, it’s okay yah? I ain’t complaining cause I get bonus raise so.. ;P Went online and discussed about our trip to PWTC this Sunday for PC Fair. Wowee! Time to stock up on my CD-Rs. Chat chat chat and continue chatting until ended up sleeping at 1:30am.

As I’ve mentioned earlier on, that I woke up late this morning and blindly walked around and then into the bathroom and washed up. Came out with a bloody flu. Eish! Left the house at 7:40am today and was driving at an average speed of 70km/h so it took me about and hour to get there. Looked at the time and it was only 8:40am. It was still damn early! Got down and then walked around as usual.

Got my timetable already and looks pretty hectic. I’ll be in class GD1 and so few of us borned in the year 1986! The rest of them are in the foundation year as for us, we’ll be doing our Diploma straight away. Gonna be one hella roller coaster ride for the next 15 weeks. Arhh! Came back home early today cause I didn’t want to go tour around Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, solely organized by the campus. Edmund went home early cause he wasn’t feeling very well and my new friends weren’t present, so blah~

More to blog tonight, so check back yeah?

July

Today is the second day of my orientation week in LUCT. It wasn’t so bad today cause I finally found someone that I know! Well, actually he was the one who approached me early this morning when I was checking out the list of names for July intake. Edmund went to the same camp as I did for National Service but we hardly know each other back then. Different camp, different platoon. Couldn’t recognize him in the first place! But yeah.. it’s great to see you again, dude. ;)

Had my very first meal in LUCT this morning. A plate of nasi lemak with egg and a cup of Iced Milo for breakfast. I would say that RM4.00 for today’s breakfast is quite reasonable cause of the large serving and boy, it tasted real good. I was still all alone then with few people in the campus cause it was only 8:20am! Left home at about 7:30am today. Walked around the campus before returning to the Hall of Fame for briefings. That’s when I met up with Edmund.

Stupid Tan Sri Dato’ Lim Kok Wing fong fei kei-ed this morning as he was supposed to give us a speech and bid us a warmth welcome. So in the end, Mr. Scott from the faculty of art and design gotta speak on his behalf instead. We were then introduced to the program leaders and lecturers each from their respective faculty. Next, came Sheikh Fami (no idea how to spell his name) onto the stage to give us a short briefing about International House. Few short speeches by 4 of LUCT’s student ambassadors and then finally lunch.

It was quite a long break since everything was done way ahead of schedule. We had to sit at the MDTC cafeteria for 2 and a half hours doing nothing. This time I had Claypoot Noodles for lunch. AWESOME! RM5.00 including a drink. Good food indeed! Made a new friend as well. Rebecca’s our senior and she’s transferred over here from TAR College. Currently doing Architecture course which means she’s going to be in the same faculty as Edmund, who will be doing Interior Design. Interesting stuff.

Nearly dozed off cause it was damn bloody boring. We had a tour around the campus including certain restricted areas such as the library and the multimedia lab. That’s about it. We were seperated into group of 20s and Miss Huei brought us around. There’s this group of guys who were making so much noise and busy checking out a female staff, which I believe to be in her mid-20s. They even tried to PEEP her when walking up the staircase! Fcuking faggots.

But well… It is undeniable that she really is HOT. Hahahaha ;P And no, I never take part in such perverted act so don’t think one corner ah! Edmund, Rebecca and I are among the many groups that only got to know more of one another just today. So we basically spent the whole day loiterring around together and we even got left out during the campus tour! *Growls* We were busy checking out the exhibition room where final projects of LUCT students are being displayed. Really makes me drool.

Expect more pictures in next few days. Photography session was a bit crappy today. We only got to sit at the staircase which connects the main block to MDTC. Waited for like 20 minutes just to snap few of our pictures and then dismissed. Saw Tan Sri Dato’ Lim Kok Wing inside the Wings Coffeehouse right before we left! Another crappy fella also. FFK king! Oh, and Wings Coffeehouse has the standards of Starbucks and Coffeebean. The price tag of the beverages are exactly the SAME. Cut throat!

Okay ciao now.

Ack. Didn’t sleep well last night cause I was so excited about today! Played some Quake 3 Arena together with Guard, Archangel and Auricom before going off to bed at 1:00am.. but only managed to sleep roughly about 3:00am. This is what that has been happening over the past 5 years. I hate the feelings of butterflies in my stomach especially when school reopens after a long term break. “Ah, there goes another year and here I am, one year older.” *Growls*

Woke up at 6:30am and washed up. Had a packet of Maggi Mee for breakfast before leaving the house at 7:20am and traffic was already building up. This is the cause of the ongoing construction which is taking place between SS18 and SS17. I believe they are working on a flyover or something else as an alternative to ease the traffic (hopefully). The road was closed this morning so I gotta go SS18 and then slither my way out of the housing area to SS19.

I’m currently using the Puchong highway to make it to Cyberjaya which only takes me 15 minutes to get there. However, it is quite a busy road with lots of lorries so it’s kinda scary at times. Now I will have to decide on whether to sign up for the bus transport or to continue driving. I’m in a dilemma again *sob* I prefer driving to school but then the toll fees and petrol consumption is slightly more expensive than the monthly bus transportation.

Reached the campus at 8:15am and it was so empty! Pin drop silence. So I took this opportunity to walk around the campus all by myself and checked out the newly completed MDTC (Malaysia Design Technology Centre or something like that). That white funky shaped building will cater all of our needs, including food and drinks, a national design museum for showcases, boutique stores, smoking lounge and lots more. There will also be a gym fitness club for students as well as hair salon and design school. Interesting~!

People started flooding the campus only at about 9:15am when the courses enrolment actually starts at 9:00am. The process of registering is pretty efficient and simple. I approached the FAD graphic design diploma course counter and got it done within minutes and then over to the bursary counter for settle my fees payment. Looked around and saw this long queue for graphic design degree course. Haih… Feel so degraded cause I’m only doing Diploma. *Growls*

It was 9:15am then, so I came back home and ate bak kut teh with parents at Petaling Jaya. Next programme was at 2:00pm so I managed to rest for a couple of hours before making a second trip back to Cyberjaya. Didn’t want to stay there cause I was dead bored with no one to accompany me. There’s nothing else to do besides the library but I couldn’t get in with my temporary ID slip! Bumped into Aiman but then he went missing throughout the whole afternoon. A short speech by Mr. Scott and some briefings. That’s about it.

Came back home around 4:00pm cause I was caught in a terrible traffic jam at Summit USJ. Checked out the schedule for the orientation week. Seems fun as we get to tour around Cyberjaya and a trip to Putrajaya as well. Tomorrow will be the formal welcoming ceremony for us July intake and Tan Sri Dato Lim Kok Wing himself will be paying us a visit. Also we will be having an orientation dinner on Wednesday night with some VIP guests before breaking us up into our respective courses on Thursday.

Wowee! Got a free LUCT t-shirt as well. Most probably will be wearing it tomorrow since they’re having a photography session during the afternoon. *Jumps around in joy* Took a short nap during the evening before going off to dinner at the nearby coffeeshop. Had ’sotong with chill paste’ with a bowl of rice for dinner. Hahaha ;P And yessss, it was filling and freaking spicy as well!

Just came back home from Carrefour. Almost forgotten to get a small note-book and a multi-purpose A4 paper personal holder. I need to get a new bag. And I saw this girl who looks like Jennifer Garner! Woohoo!

Okay I’m acting weird. Today’s post is pretty much straightforward cause I’m too darn lazy to make it sounds interesting (Not like I can write interesting blog entries though, considering my english so keng chao!). Ciao first.

Ack. Dined at Zen Japanese Restaurant in Sunway Pyramid this evening. The interior design’s gorgeous and really nice ambience. Not too much noise coming from the crowd since it’s elevated right above Kim Gary Restaurant. You can never seem to get seated during lunch and dinner hour at Kim Gary cause it’s so packed and the queue will drive you crazy! What and how good the food is anyway? The crowd never seems to disperse.

Sweet mellow songs playing in the background sums up the mood dining in Zen. Had Yakiniku Zen dinner set with chawanmushi and tempura moriawase. Food was good but it was so expensive! I would say thatsake sashimi’s the only delicacy that is worth eating in Zen cause it costs you RM15 only for 8 big pieces! So fresh and so sweet. *Mmmm~* Well, I’d still prefer Kogetsu in Saujana cause they serve better authentic food over there.

Mom wanted to buy few packets of orange juice so I went to MPH Bookstore and bought myself a copy of this month’s HWM Magazine. Was queuing up when I came across this book entitled: Khidmat Negara, Satu Kenangan Abadi. Definitely an eye-opener for me so I walked towards the shelf and picked up a copy. Browsed through the pages, completed with colour images and the timetable! Everything fully detailed. Wanted to get a copy but I was cash strapped so, oh well :\

Left Sunway Pyramid and asked brother to dropped me at the photo shop in SS15. Gotta photocopy my school leaving certificate and the letter of acceptance into LUCT (Lim Kok Wing University College of Creative Technology) for tomorrow. Wowee! Finally the day that I have been waiting for the past 6 months! It is no doubt that I’m going to have a tough time ahead but I swear to myself that I will thrive for success! Gambateh ne~!

Okay enough… I’m suppose to be sleeping by now! So tataz y’ all.

July

Oh.. So it is now 1:50pm, which means that I woke up late again! *Growls* National Service Participants are entitled to a free ticket for 1:30pm’s I Robot show at Sunway Pyramid but then here I am blogging instead. Not that I want to go watch the movie all alone anyway cause it’ll be damn boring and.. sad! Other NS friends of mine don’t usually come out during Sundays so.. Oh well *Sigh* Heard that I Robot’s quite a good show and Will Smith being such an ass-kicking actor, so expect some explosive actions and cracking jokes.

A snippet of my wonderful Saturday. Woke up at 11:00am only to realize that I was late, therefore I couldn’t go to the bank and deposit the cash for Unlinked’s webspace. This, however has been settled by Jolene after she agreed to help me out last night. You da woman, Jo! College’s starting next Monday so I will only have weekends to pay up the remaining webhosting fee to Wkkay. Come to think of it, my site has been a year old already. Time passes by like a speeding train, which can be a bad thing once in a while. I’m aging! *cough cough*

Washed up and got ready to go to Club 7 when Archangel suddenly messaged me to wait a little while longer cause he gotta send Auricom to Sunway first. So I walked over to Carrefour and get my spectacles fixed from the optometrist. Wowee! Came back home and played with Ashley before parting to Al Rafi’s Corner for breakfast. Archangel reached at 12:15pm so there goes our pool session at Club 7. *Growls*

Paid for the food and off we went to search for a proper parking space. Practically spent about 15 minutes before Archangel finally gave up and parked at the housing area underneath a tree, providing some shade for his Satria. Archangel still drives like a maniac and he made me felt giddy. Cis!

Sri KL’s 25th Anniversary Carnival Day! I quote Archangel, “How I wish every Saturday would be Sri KL’s Carnival Day“. I totally agree. The crowd and the stalls are like 4 times more than Seri Cahaya’s Carnival Day! How sad. Bumped into quite a lot of old friends and to name a few - Yew Yi, Koon Aw, Shu Yee, Ameline and few other familiar looking ones. Wandered around for a while to check out the game stalls and all. Some looks silly while some other seems fun enough.

After 15 minutes of browsing through the stalls, Archangel and I decided to share and get ourselves a ticket booklet, which cost us RM10 each. Weather was nice until the wind started blowing the clouds away and the sky was all blue and serene within minutes. Everything starts to heat up cause of the naked scorching hot sun so we bought ourselves some drinks to keep our body temperature cool. Cincau drink was awful… Tasted like diluted sugar drink. The food over there looks good (especially the sotongs.. ;P) but didn’t get to try it out cause I was damn full.

Sat down and chatted a little while before Sarah came and joined us. Oho! Finally got to meet up with my boss! I was then noticing the crowd just growing bigger and bigger. None of them seems to have left cause I’ve been seeing the same faces throughout the 3 hours! Anyway, so we continued walking around and couldn’t decide on what to use the remaining RM9 worth of tickets for. Bought two pieces of salty(!) honeydew and gave away the remaining tickets.

There are more but I’m just too lazy to explain. Check out the pictures below and see it for yourself. Notice the toilet fee! That’s definitely a head-turning sign for everyone! And the Haunted Mansion seems to have fetched quite a lot of profit cause the queue was damn long and per entry fee was RM10! *Foams*

Left Sri KL at 3:30pm for Sunway Pyramid. Sarah was so eager on experiencing Archangel’s driving but then I guess she wouldn’t anymore.. Yes boss? *Beams* Pyramid was so happening that we couldn’t find a proper parking space so Archangel ended up parking beside the concrete wall near the spiral slope down to the next floor. Chilled out and met up with Auricom, Christine, Unforgiven_Sin and etc.

Walked around and went to Dockers cause boss wanted to meet up with her friend as well. I seriously didn’t know where Dockers was! >.< Got there and introduced a bit of myself… and I saw Foong Chuan! What a coincidence! He’s been working there as well over the past 7 months. Chatted a little while. It’s great to see old friends again. Then off to Bata to meet up with William, Evan and Eugene.

It was already 5pm so I had to leave. William dropped both me and Eugene at our homes and then left. Thanks for the ride! Waited for dad to return only to find that we weren’t going to have seafood at Port Klang! What a big turn-off. -_-; Went to Lala Chong at Subang Airport for dinner instead. Also seafood but wasn’t up to my expectations. Sighhhhhhhhhh……

I’m sleepy. Installed Quake 3 Arena and played Rocket Arena with Guard, Auricom and Archangel before quitting cause I’m like… free frags to them! Besides, I’m no longer used to such fast pace first person shooting games and it kinda made me dizzy. Took a break and chatted in mIRC and MSN Messenger. Hehehe!

Drove out roughly about 12am to get myself supper at Mcdonalds Drive-Thru. I gave myself a time limit of 15 minutes and got Sarah to time me but then I was late for 5 minutes cause they ran out of nuggets and had to fry new ones! So that’s basically where the extra 5 minutes came from. Sigh… Nevertheless, the freshly fried nuggets tasted awesome! And now I’ve got ulcer underneath my tongue. *Growls*

I’m getting hungry! See ya!

July

Ack. Was in a state of dilemma moments ago but then I guess it has already been decided. Sri Kuala Lumpur’s Carnival Day or National Service gathering at Midvalley? Both happening at the same time. Drivel’s meet-up with Christine has been canceled last minute due to the lack of attendance or else it would have been a terrible headache for me. Promised my boss a week ago that we’ll be meeting up tomorrow so I don’t wanna become FFK king again ;P Will be going to Sri KL together with Archangel and hopefully have a good time!

Had dinner at about 8:00pm so that means I’m late for my streaming session for Unlinked’s Encore radio station! *Growls* Not like it makes any difference though. Everything seem so dead over the past few weeks. All these happened just too fast. The truth has yet to be revealed so I have absolutely no idea what actually happened. Unlinked is in dire need of reshaping the whole community.

Ack. The stupid screw that holds my right lens together with the frame has loosen so I better get it fixed before the whole lens drops off. Was supposed to walk over to Carrefour but then I’m too lazy to move my ass after dinner ;S Anyway, I’m planning to change to contact lens. What say you? I’m a little worried though cause some people looks awkward after changing to contacts from spectacles. Their eyes look like goldfish. I don’t know why. And contact lens need proper care but me being such a messy dude.. Tough.

I need to rant… somewhere. Go check it out if you know where it is. Ciao.
