This is what happens when I’m feeling hungry and there isn’t any food to munch on. Stupid MSN Messenger being such a bitch tonight cause I can’t seem to login after I got disconnected from the network moments ago. Moreover, I’m running out of animes to keep myself occupied and being idle is bringing out the grumpiness in me. Everyone is either fast asleep tonight or it’s the cause of MSN Messenger’s service downtime. It is quiet… Way too quiet to suit my liking. Classes are on tomorrow, no? *gasps*
Avril Lavigne is set to rock Malaysia on the coming 29th March with Simple Plan as part of their Bonez World Tour. This is going to be the first major event of the year and so hopefully everything turns out as planned. Tickets are expected to be on sale before Chinese New Years. Are you UP for it? I seriously wanna catch a glimpse of Avril with my own naked eyes and see if she’s really THAT short.. (5″2) Would love to meet up with other bloggers on that day as well ;D
The 4th season of American Idol has finally kicked off weeks ago. Not really a big fan of Reality TV shows here but at least American Idol keeps me entertained for 60 minutes. *chuckles* Not like there’s any difference; Participants being naive and arrogant, silly and makes a fool out of themselves, or just plain talented with good looks. Managed to catch the first two auditions in Washington D.C and St. Louis and boy was it hilarious! If you were to catch the repeats, do keep an eye on this guy named Aveni Moore. You’d never want him as your father/lecturer/counseller.
Paid my first visit to Asia Cafe on Thursday night. Initially planned to go somewhere else with the rest but then ended up only me and Eugene, as always. Don’t find that place very special but at least finally a new addition of place to dine at. Asia Cafe is located right opposite of Inti / Taylors College and you can never miss that place out. Just like a duplication of Hartamas Square, with the exception of cheaper food and less crowded. The variety of food is so large I had no idea on where to begin with that night, so I ordered 15 sticks of chicken satay and that’s about it. Not bad too ;D
It was Hari Raya Haji last Friday so many actually took leaves for the long weekend and parted to their respective hometown. Traffic was at minimal rate which leaves the street so bare and fun to drive on. Woke up rather early on that day and had brunch with mom at Subang New Village. Nothing much happened except that my favourite vegetable has been sold out =( Will not go much into details anyway since I’m already DEAD hungry so talking about food isn’t a very wise idea at the moment.
Drove to the workshop at SS14 to mend the broken tube of the car’s windscreen sprinkler. Stupid rats bitten off parts of it so water wasn’t spraying out of it. Hahahaha doesn’t sound like a big deal actually and yet it took about an hour just to carry out the repair works. Came across this Proton Waja at the Subang traffic junction and guess what is the driver trying to attempt? I’ll leave the answer for later on.
Spent my Friday night at Hartamas with some of the Unlinkers. Makubex a.k.a Celeste is back for holidays so decided to just meet up and have a drink. Supposed to wait for Penny at Club 7 but she ran into problems so I had to get my ass all the way into USJ5 to pick her up. Anyway we were the early birds who arrived among others so we decided to drop by at Virtual Arena and met up with Fox and Arch. Just talked a bit and off we went to Breakers to meet up with the rest.
BREAKERS! Only spent 10 minutes there and played a game so that means no fun at all =( Some were hungry though so we had to make an early move to Hartamas Square beside for our yum cha session. Not forgetting Shisha since Penny, Paul and Wkkay insisted to have one. Basically sat down and talked for almost two hours before changing venue to Cristro’s. I didn’t drink. I couldn’t drink since I was driving that night so ordered an Iced Lemon Tea only. Gah! Really nice ambience although it was little tad too dark.
We left about 12:30am cause Paul had to deliver supper back home to his mom so the rest had to leave as well since they were all carpooling. Everyone disappeared not long after the gathering was disbanded. Penny and I had a rather ‘interesting’ conversation while walking back to the car. SHE was the one who thought of something else when I actually meant the other way round! You may read her blog for more infos.
Had to drop Penny back home and so I ended up at my own crib roughly about 1:00am. Quickly got showered and slumped to bed. Gotta wake up early next morning since I’d promised to go shopping with Melissa who just came back from Switzerland for good. Left about 12:00pm to pick Evan up from his place (USJ2) before leaving Subang territory for One Utama. Reached there on time and so we met up and had lunch at Vietnam Kitchen. Melissa was acting weirdly cause she was plucking the roots out of those beansprouts before tossing them into the bowl of sliced beef rice noodle soup. Evan and I were puzzled over her actions.

Evan bracing the unexplainable taste of the Herbal Six Treasures or something like that.
What’s wrong with beansprout roots? Evan had lunch already so he decided to go for something special. He ordered a Herbal Six Treasures drink or something like that which consists of six different type of ingredients (Hence the name) I almost choked on my drink when I saw Evan’s face expression upon sipping his own. He claims that it tasted awful but I think it was okay. Just like any other ordinary sugar drinks. Hahahahahaha.
Basically we just walked around after lunch and did some (window) shopping. Mel was making so much noise cause I left the place empty handed. Hahahahaha! Yeah well I was supposed to shop for the remaining items for Chinese New Year but I couldn’t make a move. I was indecisive over which items to buy but at least I have a rough figure on how much to bring during my next trip. Am currently eyeing on one at Zara and few other polo tees from Giordano.
Bumped into so many familiar ones too; namely Wei Mun, Vincent, Elaine (Sri KL schoolmate), See Cezlynn, regular foosers and a few others from LUCT. Evan and I had to leave early since we’ve got sorta like a mini reunion among those from Sri KL at Carrefour Starbucks. We were supposed to meet up at 4pm but we left One Utama at 4:10pm instead *hides away* Quickly rushed back and returned the car back home.
And so we finally reached around 4:30pm. Not a bad time I guess. Felt kinda awkward in the first place cause I don’t really know the rest except for Evan and Andrea. The ones present were Ameline, Calvin, Ing Hong, Melissa Lam (I think), Evan and I. Eugene came minutes later but didn’t want to join us cause he was more anticipated in getting his new phone @ Nokia Care Center. Hahahahaha! Went to check him out and his new N6670. W00t! Eugene must be very happy now cause he gets to view ’something’ wherever he goes. *chuckles*
Anyway the rest left for Rack so I too joined them for a few games of foosball and pool. Wasn’t long though till I had to go home and have dinner with my family. So we went to…. Asia Cafe again! It was a first time for the rest though. Ordered hell lotsa of food and we actually finished 97.236% of it! Laid back and was trying to ease the flow of those huge amount of food downing into my bottom. Saw E-Guy as well with his brother, I think. Hahahaha.

Portuguese Grilled Fish! Highly NOT Recommended!

Sweet and Sour Crab with Bread. Good Stuff!

Western Trio Platter (Steak, Lambshop and Sausage) No good either!

Overall… Cost roughly about RM100 for everything on the table
I’m too lazy to continue blogging so I’ll just describe my Sunday as an okay one. Hahahaha! Gonna have to look for some food to munch on and watch Newcastle United trash Arsenal later on! Hahahahaha daym, I’m so mean ;D
