Thank God It’s… Sunday?

27

February

Ah. I had a good night sleep because it actually rained! Wasn’t expecting such a heavy downpour though but it was total bliss as my room was freezing cold I’d actually got up in the middle of the night just to increase the room temperature. Not forgetting the loud clapping thunders I totally abhor cause it scares the shit outta me. So powerful that my windows started rattling due to the cause of the strong wave. Flashing lights causes panic and howling winds through the ledge of my window.

Woke up at 10:00am feeling all fresh and new as I got ready to have breakfast with Eugene and Vincent at the nearby coffeeshop. Subliminal weather really sums up a good Sunday morning as I walk to the coffeeshop with my entire body being enveloped by dazzling cold air and traffic at it’s minimal rate. The solitary moments you’d probably gain only every once in a blue moon. Sat down and started bullshitting like what we always do while waiting for our meals to be served. The pork mee came only an hour later but it’s all good as we had a sumptuous meal.

It was then that Vincent decided to go Subang Parade cause he has got to send his Nokia Ngage QD for repairs after being infected with the phone virus. Hahaha! So Eugene and I were both making jokes about him trying to download porn from other people’s phone via bluetooth but we all very well know it’s simply impossible. Joel was together with us and he went to play Gran Turismo 4 instead with the steering wheel. Ahahahaha he looks damn stumpy in the Formula 1 replica.

Eugene and I left for Sunway minutes later to go look for potential parking space near Sunway College University. Eugene said he has been finding it hard to park his car especially when it’s past 9am cause the rest are mainly occupied by students and car workshops. Hahahaha shit came back home and practically spent the rest of the day fiddling around with my Nikon F75 SLR camera. I purposely bought a roll of film and finished all 36 exposures in just 30 minutes! Got the films developed already but not very pleased with the outcome though. Could be either the film that is inappropriate or my lack of knowledge in operating an SLR. Hahahah whatever it is, my new toy is the bomb!

I finally went to the Curve and boy, was it awesome! Might be a little too new as many shops aren’t opened yet but I really like it! My sister and I dropped by at the ‘crime scene’ as well but the boutique store has been sealed. Felt kinda freaky though since that place was utterly spooky and quiet it actually gave me goosebumps. Quickly fled the area and went window shopping. I finally found the new home kit jersey for Manchester United and it’s selling for RM219 only! The only downside about the shirt is that it looks damn ‘cheapo’… Might be a con product so am having doubts on buying it.

Before that, we dropped by at Ikea to check on my new workdesk! Been eyeing one of the Galant series but then it’s too big for my room *cries* I never liked going Ikea cause I’d always suffer from dehydration due to excessive droolings over vibrant coloured objects; be it chairs, tables or carpets. I’d never leave the place without buying anything and so I bought a clock, a stack of papers for doodling purposes as well as a manequin! Hahaha yes, cause I believe it’s going to play an important role in my Life Drawing 2 as I will be fully concentrating on the anatomy structural drawings of a human figure. Wowee!

Aww… My sis and I even stopped by Thai Express and tried out their fried thai squid and tom yam seafood soup! Oooh… mouth watering and appetizing! The beverages seem to be a little overcharged though but it’s all good! Ohohohohoh! And so we came back home just on time for dinner at Kinpachi Japanese Restaurant with family. The food didn”t stop just there cause I went to Asiacafe with William and Eugene (again) later during the night and we had lotsa food for supper! Satays, chicken wings, wanton mee, korean gyozas and big cupy of Iced Milo to sum things up. Oooh… So full my stomach actually hurts *gasps*

What next? *cackles* It’s ASIACLUB! Holy mama’s sheep! Why didn’t I go Taylor’s for PRE-U but ended up in Lame Cock Wank University College of Creative Money-Leeching Technological lunatics instead! Here, you’ll find lecturers who looks like a male but turns out to be a female and vice versa. Hahahaha okay I ain’t complaining. I’m enjoying my life in LUCT (minus tutorials, lack of beauties and tons of assignments). Though it may be a little tad far away from my place but it’s a really nice place (minus the weather, surroundings and lack of trees). The campus is by far one of the most eye-catching building you’ll ever come across in Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.

Anyway back to Asiaclub. Holy mama’s cow! Seriously it’s damn freaking nice. So spacious and high ceiling makes the place look so grand! Not only that but it’s less smoky as well and we have more rooms to walk around instead of having to sneak right behind one’s back and rub your chest against his/her back just to get to the other side of the place. Just imagine if the person’s back was all sweaty. Mmmm…. nice. Played some foosball (12 brand new T3 tables!) and then off to Pool. Hahaha shit I played like a total n00b, even worse than before! Guess it’s time for an old folk like me to call it a day and hang up the …. Well, there’s nothing for me to hang anyway.

My third proposal of getting my eyebrow pierced has been REJECTED. Gah!

Sis: Wah. Look at the fella with those piercings. Looks damn yeng man.
Me: *Taking advantage* Hmm, I wonder how much ah if wanna pierce eyebrow?
Mom: *In a furious tone*What did you just say ah?! Pierce what!?
Me: *Sweats* Oh… Nothing. My friend planning to pierce his eyebrow so thought I’d do him a favour by asking the price.

Major stoning.

AHH! Weekend is coming to an end… So it’s back to college once again and tutorials going to start this week onwards! Hahaha on a happier note, Mary has finally been eliminated from Outback Jack last Thursday! Woohoo! Was overwhelmed in joyfulness cause I so bloody detest her. Stupid bimbo. I so wanna go on a vacation. Who’s up for a trip to Hawaii !?

Dear Gorilla, Meet the Yapsters!

February

Random speakings of the day:

1. I never really used the car honk when driving on the road over the past year. Probably misused it to send my regards to a friend or relative who happens to be driving on the same road. This rarely happens though. That’s about it but then yesterday morning, I actually sounded the car honk for a real purpose because there was this indian lady driver who was busy talking and she tried to cut into my line when I was just right beside her! Panicked as soon as I saw her metallic gray Wira closing near to my side, I smacked the honk with all my might and strength. Think I kinda startled her as she quickly swirve to the OPPOSITE lane. Not sure if she’d actually check her side mirrors before doing so cause it was pretty dangerous. Hahaha!

2. Just moments ago, I actually managed to swat a mosquito without having it’s tummy busted. Therefore, no blood spilled and everything was all clean. Erk, those fluids contained in it’s bloated tummy are most probably contributed by donor named Slinky.

The gorilla seems to be in pain cause of the buttock hair removal.

3. I bought this so-called ‘multi-purpose solution power pack‘ for my contact lenses. The ‘power pack‘ comes with two bottles of solutions and bundled in together are a traveler’s bottle kit and a free gorilla soft toy! Hahaha there’s a pouch to hold the traveler’s bottle kit and it looks so adorable! Unfortunately, there’s masking tape stuck on the gorilla’s buttock and now I can’t remove it with ease. I probably pulled some of it’s buttock hair out together with the tape. Poor gorilla :(

Vroom Vroom! V-Power or Unleaded? None, cause it runs on Diesel ONLY.

4. Ever seen a yellow tractor pumping diesel into it’s fuel tank at a nearby petrol station near you? Not me, for sure until just hours ago. We were about to turn into the junction which leads to the KFC fast food restaurant at SS15. Then brother suddenly let out a big cry, ” WHOAH! Tractor pumping oil! Fuiyoh! First time!” My family turned our heads and was staring in utter excitement! Hahaahaha, it all runs in the family. Weird ones :D I think my family can be the next “Fockers”! No, serious! But I guess we’re gonna name ourselves as “Yapsters” instead!

College is total bore today as we practically spent the entire day with our buttocks glued on to a chair. I reached Cyberjaya at 8:30am in the morning and it was pretty much like an abandoned building. Everyone arrived late as usual and so I met up with the rest of my classmates at the cafeteria first. Basically just gathered up in the class and then boarded the bus to Universiti Malaya for this forum about our Father of Independance (Tunku Abdul Rahman, that is). Was kinda reluctant to go but then I forced myself out of the bed just for the sake of getting extra marks for my Malaysian Studies. Ohohohoh!

Steve, Mark, John and Kim. All looking stoned.

There’s a convinient imitation of “Starbucks” in UM itself. It’s called the Kopies Satu!

Okay, better not emphasize much on the forum because it was dead boring and we were all surrounded by VIPs and students of UM. We had this kinda hostile reception when we got there because everyone was staring at you one kind. Didn’t get along well with the facilitators over so we kinda isolated ourselves from the crowd and wandered around aimlessly since it was like a freezing cold in the auditorium. Hahaha crap it’s been nearly half a decade since I last been to Universiti Malaya. The last time I went there was for a PMR seminar, and boy did it suck. Don’t really recognize the place though except for the cafeteria cause there was this ‘mini series’ that was shot in the University for our National Service programme. Hahahaha cheap production.

Anyway, we left the place around 2:00pm and got back to LUCT an hour later. Didn’t get to rest a tiny bit also cause we had our first class of History of Art to attend to. Joanne’s the name of our lecturer and the briefings didn’t sound very appetizing to us cause there’s going to be hell lotsa work to do and I’m going to turn myself into a library nerd some time soon in search of relevant datas for referencing.

Only managed to get home by 5:00pm and was already half dead by then so I slumped onto my comfy bed and took a short nap. Hehehehehe! Not for long though since I got interrupted and was told that we were going to 1 Utama for dinner. WHAT!? Bro wanted to get his Star Wars t-shirts from the Ultimate Toys store as well as taking a look at my SLR cameras. Will have to get one by this weekend cause I will be using for my Photography class the following week. Lotsa moolahsgoing to be burned to satisfy the needs of hungry lecturers of LUCT.

Had dinner at Chili’s and walked out almost an hour later only to find that all shops are already closed. Argh! Anyway, I had the Chili’s strip steak and soupf of the day which happens to be chicken and mushroom. Not bad I suppose, and it’s the first time dining at Chili’s. The food’s so good it makes you wanting to drool for more and not forgetting the bill that comes with it. Now that makes you wanna cry a river flowing down the Klang Valley.

Enough for today for I am now going to regain some of my very much deprived beauty sleep. My eyebags are getting more obvious by days. Piece of info you might find rather useful, is that I’ve uploaded the remaining pictures I took at the LUCT open house yesterday. Go feast your eyes with those found in the yesterday’s post (Scroll down)!

First day of college and already craving for holidays. Patiently waited at the amphitheater for extra thirty minutes when the supposedly ‘orientation’ starts at 9:00am sharp. So there I was seated and caught a glimpse of the new students from February intake. Ohoho, spotted a few potential targets but they are seen loitering together with blonde guys clad in bell-bottom jeans and tight collared shirts who drag their feet in thongs. Gah!

Students meeting up with their new class mentor.

Waiting to be called for duty.

GD2A; My class for the second semester.

Anyway, I’m pretty screwed after having spent almost the entire day at college university. We had an open house at the campus and boy was it happening! Mouth-watering buffet dinner, pathetic lion dance, ‘tipu-helah‘ martial arts, nonsensical acrobatic team, disastrous fashion show, splendiferous wushu performance and few others which I didn’t stay long enough to spectate. Was dying to get home as I had only 3 hours of sleep the night before and so it was taking it’s toll on my entire body.

I never knew Wings Coffee sells ice-cream! And it’s only RM1 per BIG scoop. Great deal!

Am feeling damn freaking tired right now and my brain has already set itself on hibernation mode. Will save the rest of the pictures I took for tomorrow’s post instead. Am going to sleep now cause I have to freaking wake up at 6:30am! There will be a field trip to Universiti Malaya for Malaysian Studies. Not that it’s compulsary, but extra marks are given for attendance so heck with it! I even attended the one for my Moral Studies during last semester but at least it paid off with a distinction grade for my LAN subject :D

Okay I’m going to bed now and hopefully I’d be able do something about this layout, especially with the sidebar. I miss my tagboard and Radio.Blog already :(

February

Oh goodness. I just woke up from 3 hours of beauty sleep and here I am staring blankly at this Wordpress dashboard. Need not announce my plan of sleeping early anymore for I am now typing this feeling all wide awake. College life is about to resume in 8 hours from now and I am so not ready for it. No more late suppers and watching football at a local mamak stall. No more driving out late at night to Rack for games of foosball. Well, and no more lot’s more! Have a bad feeling that second semester is going to be much tougher, thus resulting in months of depression and getting myself zombified due to the lack of sleep.

Well at least I had a blast throughout the entire weekend, with an open house and farewell party to attend to. It was nice having to meet up with my former classmates once again who all turned up at Melissa’s open house last Friday. Was a bit late for the occasion though since an accident had occured just metres away from my doorstep. Apparently a pedestrian was knocked down by a bus at the traffic light junction in between of Subang Parade and Carrefour. So three of the 4 lanes have been closed which resulted in one hell of a massive traffic congestion. Managed to leave Subang only by 8:15pm.

Parking was such a bitch because the road is freaking narrow and obviously as a late comer, I had to park my car very far away and stroll along the creepy road to get to Melissa’s place. Ameline, Ting Yang and Boon Phin reached minutes after me so didn’t feel that bad after all. Many hasn’t changed since I left Sri KL so didn’t take me long to recognize all of them. Yik Kent was seen munching on the food as soon as I stepped in the house. The caterer is the same that my father and uncle used back in recent years so I have no doubts about the food cause it’s all good stuff. Had dinner before I went there so had very few only. Then again, as a late comer only to be greeted by cold dishes and leftovers. Still, the food tastes good.

Melissa’s desk. I have a feeling I’m not suppose to post this picture up.

The 15 year old Glenfiddich fine Scotch Whisky.

I am still in utter disappointment since I didn’t manage to snap some pictures of the people who attended Melissa’s open house. I brought the camera and yet I didn’t have the courage to approach them for a group picture. How silly I am. Well, I did snapped some pictures during the open house but it has got nothing to do with the guests. A picture of Melissa’s desk and this imported bottle of Glenfiddish scotch whisky; something you rarely see on the shelves here in Malaysia. Others who turned up are Ming Fei, Chee Hui, Sonia, Boon Wy, Koon Aw and another guy called Jacky (I think)

Spent the rest of the night gambling, and lost as usual. Decided to quit as it has finally came to my realization that I’d never win any money. Continuing would only mean more loss so I chose to indulging self into social talks among others and reminiscing about the good old times spent in Sri KL. It’s been almost 8 years since I left the school, and only been there a couple of times for breakfast last year. Hahahaha! Sin Hue, Eugene and I used to go meet up with the rest of the Sri KLians and then have nasi lemak for breakfast at their canteen right before I left for National Service. Wanted to go there again but decided not to in fear of getting caught for trespassing!

Came back home only about 12:15am and then went for a drink at Pan Bakery cafe with William, Timothy and his friend. Played some foosball also before that, and boy has it been such a long time since I last played. Am still suffering from burnout and muscle strain of my right arm. Had to leave early since I hadn’t been sleeping much lately and so I was damn freaking tired. Reached home around 2:30am and crashed on to bed instantly.

Then just yesterday, I decided to drop by at Chui Wa’s place for her farewell party. Very nice of her for inviting me, since I don’t really know her in person. Only met her a few times in which I could probably count with just one hand. So I left my place around 9:00pm and picked Eugene up from his place. Had to pump the petrol into my sister’s car as well so there was a bit of delay in time schedule. I think we reached around 9:40pm and everyone was already half drunk. Many were seen walking around red-faced and making so much noise. I was actually stunned seeing the huge crowd; many from CPU and few close friends. But one thing for sure, I knew none of them. Wei Mun then greeted us and so apparently, she was all alone too. Hahahaha!

Just bummed around and watch the gang gamble. Players get to choose whether to pay up or drink; A rule which I think is rather unfair, especially to those who drove last night. It was long before everyone decided to take a break and get themselves some refreshments. Sat down, talked among our anti-social selfs and tried Guiness Stout. Oh fuck, that tastes horrendous. So Eugene came up with the idea of playing cards while loser drinks 1/3 of the Shitness Stout. William came minutes later and so we opened our legal ring of gambling session :D Guan Siang and another friend of William’s joined us.

Eugene looking stoned, or was he looking at someone else?

And for the first time ever in my gambling history, I actually won money. Was so happy since I was the banker and seeing how cash flow into my pocket endlessly. The feeling however died moments later when everyone started drinking instead of paying me up cause they’re claiming that their moolah’s running dry. SEE! Told you it’s unfair, especially for someone like me, who only wins money every once in a blue moon. Not only that, we left about 12:30am for supper at Williams, and I was forced to pay for their meals because I won earlier last night. ARGH! *sob sob*

My first ever passion fruit peach!

Only had indo mee goreng for supper since I ordered a Capellini Butter Prawn (however you spell it) but they didn’t have it last night :( And I finally had a taste of Passion Fruit! A drink highly recommended but then well… I ordered peach but seriously didn’t taste like one. More like a mixture of banana, peach, mango and maybe jackfruit as well. Freaking sour during first sip but then it’s all good. Quite nice also actually :D William’s friend had to leave urgently since she wasn’t supposed to be anywhere else besides Chui Wa’s place. So we left together and reached home around 2:00am.

As for today, nothing much has happened. Spent the entire afternoon working on my blog. How’s the new layout? Found this theme online so decided to give a try and… Let’s just say it is love at first sight. Hehehehe! The blog is still undergoing some minor reconstructions so certain features will be disabled such as the radio.blog, archives and most noticeable, my tagboard! It’s still not working :( Will get everything done as soon as possible.

College… Ahh… dreadful having to wake up at 7am in the morning once again. Will blog again tomorrow so bye for now!

Wordpress 1.5 “Strayhorn”

February

Okay now this is going to take me quite a while to digest the brand new Wordpress 1.5 “Strayhorn”. There seems to be quite a major overhaul in everything and now I’m trying to restore my previous layout to get it working. I have an all-new Themes Editor function as well so that makes theme overwriting a hassle free. Hopefully I’ll be able to import the previous layouts I came up with in recent months. Ahhh so in the mean time, here’s one of the original Kubrick layout in replacement of my FractionizeNET’s.

Gotta go now. Ciao.

Oh my goodness! Outback Jack is so damn freaking addictive I’d kill myself instantly if I were to miss another episode of this reality TV show. I only watched the first and today’s was like absolute screamer cause Marissa got voted out by all 5 other contestants! Grrr, daym was like praying so hard and hoping that Mary’d be eliminated instead.. But heck no! A special ritual was conducted in search of the one who best matches Jack himself… and so it turns out to be Mary! ARGH! Not only did she manage to escape from the elimination, but was also treated by Jack to a special dinner together.

Well, obviously Jack (and I, as a matter of fact) was very upset over the decision cause he couldn’t do anything about it. The girls were in charge of voting one of the remaining 6 out from the team and so Marissa was the one. Am not too sure what happened in the previous episode since I missed that out, but I reckon it has got to be something awful. 5 votes against 1. How bad can it be? FORTUNATELY, the host has got even better news for us to make us jump on our couches. Just when everyone thought Marissa is out of the race, she’s only been voted out but not sent home… and she’s coming back to get the rest of their asses kicked! Looks like the game has just begun!

Oh well… Anyway I had a bad start of the day, with slight headache (No hangover, mind you) and horrible moodswing. And just right after walking out of the bathroom, mom barged into my room and was told that my sis was on her way home to pick me up. Had to accompany her to RHB Bank which is located at the row of shoplots near Inti College because parking is such a bitch over there. Yes, and right before I knew it, I was already en route to the bank and hadn’t changed. Was still clad in my ruffled t-shirt and short checkered pants!

Worse still, it was during peak hours and so I spent 50 gruesome minutes stranded in the car. Was desperate to get home as I left my PC running and hadn’t eaten my brunch yet but couldn’t. So in order to keep me sane throughout the whole detention, I picked the 3 cuties up and had them grasped on my fingers. Sis bought these at pasar malam and it’s pretty cool actually. There are magnets on both their arms and feet hence the tight and firm grips on my delicate fingers :D People might have mistaken me as some mentally illed retards for talking to self in a rather violent manner while moving my fingers pathetically.

Got home around 2:00pm and there my Prawn Mee was, sitting at the dining table. ROAR! So damn freaking hungry I landed everything down bottom of my tummy within minutes. Apparently found out that eating cures moodswings. Mwahahaha! Learnt something new today :D Spent the entire day bumming around and watching TVB’s new drama serial entitled “My Family”. Miki a.k.a Shirley Yeung Sze-Ki is so freaking cute! She’s the perfect role model for my type of dream girl :D

Quite a tiring Wednesday as I only had three hours of sleep during the night before. Always happens especially when there’s something I very much look forward to the next day. And yes, college is about to begin and I’m partially excited about it, knowing the fact that I no longer have to rot at home and laze around without any shirts on (Mind you, it’s the dreadful weather). But then on the other hand, second semester seems rather tough as I’ve noticed quite a number of returning students who are to repeat their semester for failing more than 3 subjects.*shudders*

Woke up at 7am and drove all the way to Cyberjaya for the very first time in 3 months. Husni was the one who drove Evan and I to campus last month so that didn’t count. Nothing much has changed since, except the fact that the cement floor of the Hall of Fame (I call it the Hall of Shame, :P) has been carpeted. Many thanks to Wei Mun for that because I never really noticed it until I read the piece of info in her blog. Hahahaha, no wonder it felt so different walking around in the hall. Reached LUCT just about time when I bumped into George and Daryl so we chatted while waiting for the staffs to let us in for enrolment.

Practically spent about 15 minutes just to get everything done and could just call it a day but then I parked inside the campus so that would have been such a waste of money. Therefore, I decided to stay back for a while more and accompanied Husni who had a really difficult time throughout the enrolment session. My briefing will be on Monday and that’s when I’d get my timetable. The AMD (Animation Multimedia Design) students have gotten theirs and shit, classes start at 10a.m! Damn bloody nice but still can’t beat Husni’s who has classes which even start at 3pm! OMFG!

There’s also a slight increase of my tuition fee for this second semester and was making quite a big fuss about until Husni who came to me and said “Fuck, my tuition fee is RM12,000 for one semester”. We were all dumbstruck. That’s the amount you’re paying for ADOM (Advanced Diploma of Multimedia). In return, you’d get twice the amount of workload and less holidays. Though ADOM has got undoubtedly one of the highest ranked profile as a course in LUCT, but if I were to ask 10 people from the college ITSELF, 9 of them would probably go “What’s the difference between ADOM and IMD (Interactive Multimedia Design)?” Only time will tell, as Husni will be the one who enlightens us with the answer of his own as time passes by.

Just months before, I was on the verge of having my internet connection upgraded to 1MBps until Suprnova gave in to MPAA who continuously threatens other BT tracker sites for allegedly distributing pirated goods. I decided not to as it would be a waste of money since I don’t really use much of the bandwidth besides downloading (pirated) goods via BT. Hahahaha! Then just weeks ago, I found out about Lokitorrent and that resurrected my urge of upgrading the connection speed. So I finally made my mind up, but then I was informed by Eugene right before he left for holiday at Sarawak, about the closure of Lokitorrent due to the same cause . Like what the heck man! Daym… my source has once again been terminated.

Something else worth mentioning in today’s rather late post. It’s been officially a year since I left home and did a good deed for our country as part of the inaugural National Service. February 16 marks the day of heroic sacrificials from 40,000 youths born in the year 1986. And I’m very proud to say that I am one of those. Hahahaha! Daym, am hoping that I’d be able to persuade some others to follow me back for a visit to Kem Tangok, the place where I spent the first month and the remaining two at UiTM, Machang. Kelantan can be fun if you’re those who loves traveling and new experiences. And three months’ just perfect to explore the whole of the PAS territory. You might be in for some nasty surprises though when you get there *beams*

And heck, I really should go to bed cause dad’s awake at such ungodly hour! He went downstairs to grab a drink and thinks I have college tomorrow. Can already feel the disturbing aura around him and it’s just a matter of time before he barges into my room and turns me upside down. Should I remain seated in front of the PC and tell him that I’m still on holiday, or make a move and feign sleep?

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH !

February

Something I honestly would like to blog about but then again, I decided not to in fear of provoking some of the sensitive ones out there. After all, I’m not the only one spending Valentine’s Day at home and blogging instead. Haven’t do so for quite some time so would love to just drop a few lines before going off to bed. College life is about to resume in say, 35 hours and I’m feeling totally opposite of what I felt 60 days ago. Hehehehe!

Of all days, Eugene and I decided to go for a movie this morning in hopes of getting good seats for Seoul Raiders and boy were we wrong. Firstly; I lost count of the number of underaged couples roaming around the shopping complexes and many others queuing up for movie tickets. Don’t they have school or something!? Even worse, I came across this gang of students, still clad in their school uniforms and going for group dating. Wahliaoeh. Secondly; Never EVER go watch a movie with a guy friend cause people might have mistaken your friend as … erm.. your gay partner. Hahaha! Shit that was sad. We walked into cinemas only to be confronted by hundreds of lovebirds, all paired together. Both Eugene and I let off a big SIGH.

Well, at least all that didn’t stop me from enjoying my show. Seoul Raider isn’t so bad like what others thought it’d be. Many of the dialogues are quite funny as what you would normally expect from Tony Leung himself. Shu Qi looks good in the show, and so do Tony’s four other assistances. OOOH… Korean chicks are like da bombs! Not sure if any of them had visited any plastic surgeons before though. Enjoyed listening to Richie Ren’s cantonese, although it has improved tremendously. The fighting scenes are so-so only… To me, I think it’s worth paying the RM1o for drooling over the korean chicks and that’s about it. Hahaha.

Another hour till the seventh day of Chinese New Year. This year’s has been quite a dull one since everyone wasn’t in for the festive mood. We never had big gambling sessions this year and some of the relatives didn’t show up either so meaning, less ang pows. I despise In-Between. I lost RM70 on the first day of New Year. ‘Chai Choi‘ makes me feel giddy. I had a shock of my life earlier today as I thought I’d misplaced my ang pow from my dad. Would have died of depression if someone found it and having spent on karaoke sessions.

Spent my entire Saturday at my uncle’s place in Sunway Damansara. Just like the yesteryear, my uncle and his neighbours came up with another street party and more fireworks this year! The lion dance troupe’s different this time and we were all astounded by the members which consists of young pre-matured kids! I almost died of gunpowder suffocation from those red firecrackers but it was all good though. Firecrackers never fail to amaze me. *beams* Such a waste I didn’t manage to capture all of the fireworks display though since I only brought the 128MB memory stick.

Too lazy to elaborate more of my Chinese New Year as it would just go on for paragraphs. Besides, I don’t think I’d ever have the patience and capability to do so :D So there you go, many of the MANY other pictures I snapped over the past week. COLLEGE…… *sob sob*

Mom, GirlGirl and Sis.

GirlGirl, the most adorable member of the Yap family.

Funny how time flies at such immensely fast pace. Seeing GirlGirl age as years go by, makes me feel old at times like these. It was only weeks before Chinese New Year 2003 and mom found GirlGirl across the street drenched in rain. Mom decided to bring her back home and gave GirlGirl a long hot bath. She has since became our pet for almost 3 years. Funny, huh? Such a waste though as GirlGirl is one-eyed because the other one is blinded from wound.

Brother and little cousin going 1 on 1 in Winning Eleven 8.

The happy times. Aunt and dad.

Sis and I with a big smile!

Brother munching on peanuts. We actually bet on 40 peanuts per game of Blackjack. I won so he had to eat. :D

Walnut! Tastes horrendous.

Joel, Vincent, William and Eugene at my place.

My lucky golden rooster! Mwahahahaha!

Poser me. Hahaha! My first ever jeans in 10 years time.

Over at uncle’s place @ Sunway Damansara.

Firecrackers! Packs a punch, I tell you.

The lion dance troupe! Look how young the members are!

My aunts, cousins, mom and sister.

Lions entering my uncle’s house!

Say ‘CHEESE!’ Dong de rong dong Chang!

Lions ‘pai-lin’-ing to my uncle and family.

Tipsy lion! The fella finished the can of Carlsberg in 5 seconds!

My Impul 535S…. Hahahah I wish ;D

Sony PSPortable. Gaining possession of one of these would only mean the end of your social life. Mine’s already half down the drain. The other half will probably diminish by end of March when I finally lay my hands on one of these! Mwahahahaha!

Family feasting on ‘char siew‘. Yum yum!

Cragkling Carnival? Sounds damn funny. But it’s good stuff!

BOOM! Not a very good shot though. Was miliseconds late.

One of the two boxes uncle bought for the street party :D

Didn’t get to open this box since it was already getting late, and we had MORE than enough. Uncles and neighbours helped tie all the red crackers which lengths up to 350metres! Opening the remaining box means we can reach the guardhouse already :D

Tada! From one end to another, covering the whole stretch of street.

Preparing for 138 types of fireworks display! Shooting RM500 high up into the sky!

The red carpet was formed after 25 minutes of non-stop cracking red crackers!

That’s pretty much about my 2005 Chinese New Year. Will upload some of the movie clips as well if I ever have extra webspace to spare. Catch up with you guys later and ciao!
