Let me see. I don’t exactly remember every single detail about my past week but it surely has been an enjoyable one. Meeting both old and new friends, going out for drinks and playing foosball in total jakunness style. It’s been a long while since I last played foosball but Chin Ju claims that I’m a big fat liar. It’s true! Oh wait, I mean the inactivity in foosballing sessions. Met up with him at Asiaclub yesterday afternoon. Been spending my afternoons over there for three consecutive days.

It was a good night. No, it seriously was despite having ass squeezed by anonymous and dancing in the middle of insanely huge mother lovin’ crowd. Great company with exceptionally good music throughout the whole night, keeping the girls shaking their booty all right. Hahahaha hey it actually rhymes! DJ Rev didn’t screw up as badly as the previous night which I didn’t attend to. Joel did and told me how awful the remixed music by DJ Rev was. Unfortunate to not bringing the camera along so no pictures from me.
Parted Zouk at about 3:00am and took a detour to SS2 to send Jocelyn and her brother home before indulging self in much-needed supper at Subang! Pictures taken during the night can be found at Jolene’s blog. Do check it out!

Trip to Zouk last night turned out in vain as I got restricted access along with a friend of Chin. The girls didn’t have much problem walking in though but we had to change venue instead. Sad, and still feeling guilty. Will elaborate more on the cause in next coming post. No choice but resorted to Atmosphere and met up with Andara, Armand, Nurul, Dinda, Intan and Areen.

And lookie! We have Eugene, the cocktalk king in the house! Fractionize has been lack of updates lately so I thought it’d be nice to have couple of guestbloggers who would keep this site alive for the next coming months. The future of Fractionize remains uncertain since I’m not quite whether to renew the domain by end of this December or not. The fella is having his exams right now so we’ll just have to sit back and wait for his first introductory post.
Plan for the roadtrip to Marang, Kuala Terengganu is going along well but we desperately need to look for means of transportation. So far, Eugene is the only person who can drive his Pajero but permission hasn’t been granted yet. If the trip doesn’t happen, we might just have to execute plan B and drive up the Genting Highland instead. Anyone interested? ;D
I had roast chicken for dinner. It was good but I’m feeling nauseous right now. Had too much for dinner? I don’t think so. I practically had my day wasted by doing nothing productive at all. Weather didn’t help much either as the streaking hot sun was glaring throughout the whole day. Had to walk over to Eugene’s place to grab the Ir-Da adapter from him since Joel’s having mine. Chilled at his place for one hour before dragging my feet back home with shirt drenched in sweat.
The past weekend has been much enjoyable one. Ronski Speed at Zouk was freaking awesome. Turnout was massive but nothing beats the record of DJ Tiesto’s historical debut at Zouk KL last April. I was still in the midst of serving the three months ordeal of National Service in Kelantan when he came to Malaysia. *frowns* Music was good by the way. Progressive Trance accompanied by beautiful people and being able to meet up with couple of primary school friends.
Watching people getting wasted was fun. Even better still, watching your own friends getting wasted. However, getting wasted yourself isn’t fun at all. Been through that phase already. Last Friday night was Vincent’s turn as he got pretty much wasted even before Ronski Speed stepped onto the console at 12:30am. Joel being the understanding and generous friend, he decided to drive us all so we get to drink. Vincent went out of control. Joel had more than me even though I wasn’t driving.
The night was good. Dancefloor was jam packed so didn’t really get to dance to my satisfaction. And fucking indian couple just had to screw the night. Not trying to be racist here, by the way. But that couple just had to barge in from nowhere and started knocking everyone around them. The male was humping the girl from behind, like a wild beast. The girl seemed to be enjoying it. I was cornered with no one to dance with. The girl who was with me ran away. We sorta had some ‘chemistry’ going on… Erm.. as in, eye contact that is..
No pictures of pissed drunk party-goers but I did manage to snap a couple of pictures of the man of the night himself. Ronski looks pretty gay to me but he nevertheless is one of the best DJs I’ve ever come across. Reached home around 4:00am after having sent Melissa back to her place. Vincent threw up in front of my neighbour’s house. Hahahahaha okay that was not cool but it wasn’t THAT bad either.
Saturday was an ‘OFF day‘ as I practically slept through the day and waking up around 4:00pm. Felt light-headed so basically chilled a bit before having dinner straight away. Er, I don’t even remember what I had for dinner… Shit. Then it was supper with Joel, Eugene and William at… Williams. Do note that William is in no way afffiliated with … Williams. And for that, I actually missed out on MTV Movie Awards 2005. I have no idea when is the replay so… Oh well.
Then came Sunday, which I spent the whole day bumming around at Centro Salon in Sungei Wang Plaza. It was my first time getting my hair done over there and boy, was it satisfactory. Not only were both sister and I treated like king and queen, but there are plenty of leng chai and leng lui hairstylists as well. You can’t just step in and requests for a haircut though as you will have to wait till night before your turn finally arrives. My brother knows the leading creative director/ hairstylist himself so it makes life much easier.
Got my hair dyed to natural dark brown so it’ll look seamless. I was asked to do so because the amount of white hair I have is freaking Wayne (the man behind Centro) out. Hahahaha, no thanks to my dad’s gene. *bummers* so it’s all good now, and I look like a 12 year old once again! *beams with sparkling eyes*
Salem Revelation 2005 is happening on the 20th August, 2005! Venue is yet to be confirmed although it is said that the event is going to be held at some beaches. Cool! Also, GLOW2 on the 3rd July 2005 at O*range, Kuala Lumpur. Wahliao! So many events happening! Guess it’s time to polish on my shuffling skills already. Mwahahahaha!
Funny how I used to abhor R’n'B and Hip-Hop genres but now listening to those two more than ordinary pop music. Ghetto Heaven is the place to be now but the only thing missing is good companion, preferably females. I don’t wanna dance with another guy.
Funny how much I used to look forward to school holidays but now it has become one of the worst nightmare one can ever experience. Ah bengs with their Ah lians strolling around with funky hairdos and killer platform shoes. Unpleasant to the eyes.
Funny how I always prefered to go out whenever I could but then my perception towards late night outings have changed completely. I just want to stay at home and watch TV. Turning self into a couch potato. A sign of aging, perhaps?
Funny how much of anticipation I had in driving even before obtaining a driving license. Now it’s such a hassle even to drive to SS15 Mcdonald’s Drive-Thru because of other crazy lunatic drivers of Subang Jaya. I think I’ll just walk the next trip to get my supper.
