Let the Countdown Begins..

29

July

Another 22 days till Recharge R3velation hits the shores of Port Dickson. Wowee! Got myself a couple of tickets this afternoon just in case I don’t manage to get the free ones later during the week. I was at Sunway Pyramid to catch the 1:35pm show for The Island. I have got to say that it certainly is much better than everyone thought it’d be. Underrated, I’d say. Go watch it and you might just be equally as surprised. Technology can really make such tremendous impact in today’s leading industries.

Title? What’s that?

Right. So I didn’t manage to get the cheque signed by dad since I woke up late this morning. Therefore, I will have to pay up my semester fee by next week before they charge me additional 10% (RM575.00) for late payment. Fucking assholes. Dropped by at LUCT for enrolment session like any other previous semesters. Timetable is shit. Was hoping that there wouldn’t be any classes on Friday but my wish didn’t come true. Worse still, classes end at 1:00pm everday except Friday which lasts till 5:30pm! Wednesday is a holiday so guess I’ll have to live with it.

Results finally hit the mailbox which I’d eventually found out earlier during the day at campus itself. Turns out much better than I expected it to be so I’m all happy for now. Hehehehe oh, and I decided not to change course already. Took me quite a while to rediscover the passion in Graphic Design. Won’t regret by the decision that I have made.

Yum cha session with Eugene is always full of shit. Just moments ago, we were discussing about our end year trip to Perth and there in Tanjung, we calculated our rough estimation of expenditures for the 7 days trip while thinking of the impossibles just to make us happy for that ten minutes.

Gah! I need a life.

Come On… Bring It On!

Owh.. CUTI.com.my almost gave me a heart attack this morning when they called to inform me that rooms available at Seri Malaysia Resort and Le Paris Hotel and Resort are all fully booked. However, I was given an offer from Glory Beach Resort instead so now I’ll be staying there for the night on the 20th August. Wowee! Took me 5 whole days just to secure a place to spend a night in but am thankful that my (not so) hard work has finally paid off. And for now, FREE tickets! Will be getting my tickets tomorrow just in case I don’t get to have any free ones.

College tomorrow morning for enrolment session. I am so not ready :( Just when my holiday mood starts kicking in.. Gonna have to gear up for the ultimate beach party of the year! Am saving up for extra battery and memory stick for the camera. Wowee!

By the way, I had this really weird dream of me celebrating my birthday in a jet plane last night. Everyone I know was on board the plane and that includes friends from Sri KL as well as mutual ones. There wasn’t a single person in the dream that I don’t know. Weird but awesome in a way seeing some of the people I know who don’t drink getting wasted and lying on the floor instead. I actually remember mumbling to self before Elaine from CUTI.com.my called and woke me up from the dream :(

Let’s Get It Started..

July

And so Jue Lin’s back in Australia, everyone hasn’t had much time or so to say, the mood to come out for yum cha sessions anymore since classes have started already for the new semester. Another day for me to party hard before Semester 3 commences but neh, probably just stay at home and watch TV to kill time. I managed to finish both seasons of One Tree Hill in a week and now I’m feeling remorseful having done so. The finale for Season 2 is total killer and now we’re left dangling on an inconclusive conclusion. Can’t wait for Season 3!

On a brighter note, I finally found a place to stay at Port Dickson! I’m so proud of myself! Initially planned to seek permission from my uncle to spend a night at his place but guess not. Le Paris Hotel and Resort (formerly known as Costa Rico Hotel and Resort) still has got rooms available so book one before it’s too late! The place isn’t far away from Admiral Marina if you have got a car to drive around with. Don’t bother calling any of the hotels and resorts listed in R3VELATION website because they are all fully booked. Been there, done that.

Even better news. I might be able to get free tickets so double the joy! Quite a number of people I know are going so hopefully it’s gonna be one hella wicked beach party of the year! See if R3VELATION can match up to our beloved neighbourhood country, Singapore’s ZOUKOUT. Gah! Those posters and billboards put up almost everywhere in town give me chills of … anxiety and excitement!

As for now, back to sulking over the return of college life..

Recharge: R3velation 2005

19

July

And so it’s back. Recharge: R3velation 2005 will be held at Port Dickson this time with the return of Melbourne Shufflers strutting their moves in front of ecstatic crowd just like the previous ones. I’d say the DJ line-ups are pretty much impressive. Johan Gielen did a good job last year which I didn’t get the chance to experience. I also heard that there’s this promotion about us getting 10 tickets in one receipt and we get a free room to stay in. Sounds tempting huh? So, anybody interested in getting a room filled with boozes and 10 naked strangers? Hahah!

Venue : Port Dickson, Admiral Marina Hotel
Date : 20th August 2005
Time : 6pm till late
Ticket Price : RM 30 + 2 drinks
Ticket Sales : Zouk KL and selected Tower Records.

See you there, ravers. Bet it’s gonna be a good one.

The Absence Of…

July

I was hoping for it. But it never came true. And I just found out that it never will.
Why live the past when there’s whole new future waiting for you?
Would it bring any good? We’ll eventually find out.

Taking a lonely trip down memory lane has always been an enjoyable one.
Pain and happiness always make the best couple. That’s what keeps our dreams alive.

Long Time No See~

July

Today I was awoken abruptly by the tune of my ringtone. Some idiots actually attempted to send me virus but then it never really was much of a threat since my phone is running on S40v2 platform. As far as I’m concern, only Symbian phones with Bluetooth technology are prone to such viral infections so I guess my phone is okay. It was pretty early in the morning when the ‘attack’ occured so I didn’t bother much to look at the details other than just deleting it. Oh well.

Movie plan with family tonight has been canceled without prior notice so that means I’ll be heading to KL tonight with the usual gang. BBQ at Evan’s place last night was good. Pictures coming up soon but for now, I need to recuperate… both mentally and financially! *goes digging for coins*

National Service Again?

07

July

Hahaha okay. I actually dreamt of reporting in for National Service once again for we belong to the pioneer batch of the programme. The government needed us to guide the young enthusiasts so what happened was that I had to pack my bags immediately and DROVE to some rural areas. I was assigned to my own group of people which consisted only of 4 guys. So I went to our own respective camps to unpack and I took out a watermelon from my bag…. I remember putting it aside as I continue unpacking and suddenly, I hear some idiots blasting DJ Tiesto’s Traffic on his radio so I got up and started screaming like a mad guy.

It was then that I actually woke up from my sleep because someone was calling me. It was Amanda. The music that I heard in my dream was actually my ringtone. And why the sudden dream about National Service? Hahahaha probably because I was having a talk about NS with Jolene the night before who is leaving on the 10th July. All the best to you, Jolene and may you get hooked up with some hunky leng chais! So basically the conversation sorta reminisces the good old times spent during the 3 month stint in Kelantan.

Oh… As for the watermelon, I guess it resulted from mom’s nagging over the past few days cause I haven’t been eating much fruit lately and there’s freshly cut watermelon in the fridge waiting for me. Hahahaha! The four guys would probably resemble the four of us (Yew Jin, Chaang Yaw, Joel and I) since we were like closest among one another and did whole lotsa shits together as well. Wasn’t such a bad dream after all…

The past few days have been way hectic. So much things to do but so little time. I havent even updated on the trip to Genting and GLOW2. I’m walking around croaking like a frog due to 3 hours of non-stop karaoke session at Redbox yesterday afternoon. And so we thought that only Ah Bengs visit these kinda places. Now I’m turning into an Ah Beng as well… And it’s good…

Dinner time!
