Thursday Specials!

29

September

It’s 12:49pm and here I am, spending my Thursday afternoon in front of the computer already. Went out with Eugene and mom to have pork mee for lunch earlier. Class has been canceled so that explains why my ass is glued on this rusty gold plated throne of mine since then. I was actually pissed for the ultra last minute information. I was looking for car park when my phone message indicator beeped. Read the message about the sudden cancellation of class, got out of the car and looked around. There were less than 10 cars.

For the first time in 2 months, I actually bothered waking up at 7:30am for college. I had to be there by 9:00am so I could buy the black and white films from the photography lab. In fact, I was late so I drove like Michael Schumacher only to end up in a massive traffic jam right before the Puchong-LDP toll exit. It was horrendous, but I managed to reach the college just on time to buy the films. I would have exploded right in front of the counter if the assistant refused to sell me some because the new rules state that no business between 9:30 and 5:00pm. Just imagine if I were to wait till 5:00pm. Fuck, hell no way!

Walked back to the car, looked around and saw the same amount of cars in a vacant parking lot. Wind was blowing and sun was shining. Instead, I felt like being drenched in rain. 30 minutes of traveling all the way to Cyberjaya just for two rolls of film. HA HA HA. And then another 30 minutes back home. I never knew studying in Limkokwing University can be so much fun! ROCK ON, mutha fuckas!

Not forgetting the amount of time spent working all night long before. Geez, I really need to get some sleep. My eyebags are so obvious, they look like eclipse over my eyes which are 90% shut by heavy eyelids.

This should be all for now. Will keep you guys updated about Seri Cahaya’s prom as well. Im going to take a short nap first… HEhehehe! Ciao

Chicken Chopped Me Up!

27

September

Couple of people actually brought up a rather interesting topic in their blog, which I felt like sharing as well, not just because I’ve got nothing else better to blog about for today. Upon reading their posts, I felt the need to confess the otherside of me for I haven’t been the person I always tried to be lately. I feel so ignorant and self-centered that I tend to blame everything on people around me.

Even the slightest matter ticks me off. Words that I used might not sound exactly too pleasant to some. But those who truly knows me, should know that I have no intentions in doing so, and words that are slipped off carry no potential meanings at all. Childish acts without decent thought are very much regrettable now.

People take things for granted. I admit that I surely do. That’s the law of life in nature. But there’s one thing you shouldn’t EVEN consider putting into risk; friendship. You never know when the consequences gonna come slapping you hard in the face by surprise, if you don’t ever appreciate the friends around you. I had a terrible week when I tried acting tough and not talking to anybody. I felt like I was placing my string of friendship right on top of the flickering candle light, putting it into major threat.

For that, I’m sorry for being such a bitch over small little matters which I made a big fuss about. Sorry for the shits that you people had to put up with. And of course, those nonsensical doings (in a good way, I mean) that might have made you guys embarassed in the public, such as impersonating William Hung in front of a crowd, screaming without any apparent reason while foosing and belly dancing by the road side. Sorry for the bitchy looks that I gave but you know it’s for the sake of fun only. Will try to cut down on that ;P

Najib was at campus earlier this afternoon. For whatever reason, I don’t know. Crowd was surprisingly big. Didn’t get the chance to see him on stage though, as I left early for home and had wonderful 2 hours of nap. My so-called plan of boycotting Makanlah didn’t really work as I finally gave in and bought a RM7 lunch. I place my tummy at top priority. Nothing hurts as much as my tummy not being pampered with food.

Grumpy Old Man, Me.

September

Ah crap. And why did I just say that? Actually, I don’t even know why but that’s how I felt throughout the whole of today. Morning class was dreadful. Not like we did anything by the way. There goes my last weekend. Not productive at all with assignments left untouched. Went yum cha with Jocelyn the other night at Williams. Watched Manchester United lose 2-1 at home was heart-wrenching. I hereby declare Chelsea the champions of 2005/2006 English Premier League. First runner up, Manchester United of course ;D Where’s Arsenal !?!?!?!?!?

Today’s post is meaningless, and so are previous posts. I don’t know what am I typing all these for. The haze is not so apparent today if compared with previous ones. Deputy Prime Minister will be dropping by LUCT some time soon. Geez… Really nothing better to do meh? Come all the way to Cyberjaya just to see Uncle Lim who leeches money off us by raising the food price of the cafeteria. Mahem..

Anyway, just got the pictures taken during Friday night at Zouk from Samantha. Hehehehe I looked like a retard in the first picture.

Hello. I am so boring. Ciao!

REPORT: Scott Bond @ Zouk

24

September

Last night’s trip to Zouk probably was the best ever that I participated in cause Scott Bond totally pwned asses! His progressive trance set throughout the whole night truly provided us avid fans with some healthy dosage of adrenaline rush to get us into multiple screaming orgasms. Even before that, DJ Fono did a good job in pulling the crowd to the dancefloor with his progressive house. Not surprisingly, Zouk was jam packed and people didn’t seem to stop coming in and filling up every bits of vacant space available.

Joel and I reached there around 10:50pm and was horrified upon seeing the crowd gathered at the entrance of Zouk. It was the crowd from the College Idol thingy which took place during the same night itself. False alarm, as the smelly crowd soon dispersed into thin air. About 10 of us got into Zouk through guestlist as we forked out RM588 altogether for 2 bottles of Black Label. Had my fair share of liquor, considering I had quite a lot than usual, but slightly less than the night which got me wasted.

Didn’t really get to dance since we stayed upstairs and busy sipping on our drinks. The dancefloor was too crowded to shuffle on anyway. People just flooded the whole of the dancefloor as soon as Scott Bond stepped into the deck and did what he does best; throwing the crowd into a state of euphoria. I was expecting him to play Solarstone’s 3rd Earth and Naked Angels but he didn’t :( Or maybe he did when Joel and I were both cooking fishballs at the lok-lok outside of Zouk. Hahahahaha. Scott did play the Praiseworthy Tunes by Kay D Smith & Marc Tall Pres. Passive Resistance.

As we were drinking at our own table, DJ Goldfish suddenly popped out of nowhere and he was loitering around our table. I think he was looking for someone. Then not long after, DJ Fono turned up and stood right beside me as he was there to meet up with Eveline. ARGH! Eveline knows DJ Fono! She even got the chance to step into the deck and checked out the consoles. Damn envy her.. :( I guess Eveline will be going again tonight since she’s got guestlist entry under DJ Fono himself. Wahh… power man. And I found out that DJ Fono used to be a student of Limkokwing also. Hehehehe! Ages ago.

Basically, we stayed at Zouk till the end of Scott Bond’s set. The crowd demanded an encore but sadly, it didn’t materialize. So we quickly made our exits before the traffic jam started building up. Was quite intoxicated already towards the end of the night, but at least I was still sober enough to know where we were heading to. Hehehehehe!

Woke up with a slight hangover though. So being a weakling who easily suffers from hangover, I desperately googled the net for cures and found a couple of interesting solutions. I haven’t really tried these myself but apparently, it is proven by others. The well-known cure for hangover is Bloody Mary cocktail, which actually helps eases the pain instead of making things worse. There’s also milkshakes and fruitjuices consumption the morning after cause it helps rehydrate your body and filling to say the least.

Hahahaha okay I gotta go now.. Scott Bond has come and gone. Now F1 Team Renault Pit Party and Zoukout 2005 to look forward to!

Yet Another Friday… Luna Bar!

23

September

I’m not too sure if this happens to just me or others as well, but there are times when you have so much workload to deal with, you tend to bring them along to your sleep. So while you’re sleeping, you tend to dream about working as well and then waking up only to find that the work is undone :( I had such dream last night. It was terrifying, and I felt so restless throughout the whole day (No, it’s not the alcohol influence due to last night’s social outing).

Some people say that you should work on Additional Mathematics right before you sleep. So when you actually go to bed and dream about it, you’ll eventually work on the solutions in your dream and then waking up the next day to finish it without cracking your head twice. Easy, peasy yah? Hahahahaha not sure how true this is since I dropped Add Maths right after Form 4.

Anyway, last night was a bit of a haywire. Wei Mun and friends wanted to go Zouk so they turned down the trip to Luna Bar (at the very last minute somemore!) Chin Ju didn’t want to go Zouk. I was caught in the middle. William didn’t seem to pleased about it. Wei Mun, you’re gonna have to treat us to expensive lunch the next time we meet! (chicken chop at MakanLAH will do since it IS expensive *bummer*) Kakakakakakaak! But anyway, we left at about 9:30pm for KL and traffic was easy (Like duh, it’s weekdays).

The place was unusually crowded last night with so many foreigners, uncles picking on hot mamas and gorgeous looking girls! And such coincidence having to meet up with the same group of people that I celebrated my birthday with. Well, actually sort of. Couple of new faces turned up last night but never a problem as we hung out togethe for a moment while waiting for Chin Ju to arrive. The rest came not long after and boy, was it happening even before we were settled down with our drinks! Probably about 30 fellas were present.

And to my surprise, Boon Wy, Ting Yang and his girlfriend, Galvin and Amir appeared out of nowhere. Even MELVIN was there! Of all people, I never thought I’d see him at such places. Hahahaha, it truly was great seeing the Sri KLians get together after all these years that I havent been in contact with most of them. Boon Wy will be leaving on Saturday so all the best to him. And for that, Boon Wy treated us to a bottle of Glenffidich Scotch which cost a bomb. Thanks again!

So basically the whole night was spent on talkings and lotsa catching ups with ex-classmates of mine back in Sri KL. Well, things didn’t go as planned but somehow I think it turned out much better than it would have been. Wei Mun and friends could have bore to death since I don’t think they know any of the people in Luna Bar last night. It was freaking noisy up there, but such a waste that the bar closes at 1:00am. Most of them left before midnight for Ghetto Heaven, which I have always wanted to go! It’s been a while already… Shiatz.

William took over the driver’s seat since I had quite a bit. Still sober but seeming that my probational driving license expires in 40 days time, I rather not take the risk. Hahahaah well, not like there was any roadblocks also last night. Reached home at about 2:00am cause we skipped supper.

Fun fun fun! We should have such outings more often! Tonight will be Scott Bond @ Zouk… Anyway, if any of you guys are interested in joining me tonight, just drop me a message here before 10:00pm. Ciao!

The Random Tuesday

20

September

Today’s post is going to be random since I don’t have much to blog about except for Zoukout, F1 Renault Pit Party 2005 and lousy performance by Manchester United during Sunday’s match. Below is something I found rather interesting and sure as hell creepy. Pure coincidence or conspiracy theory? Yami Dymlos of Unlinked to thank for this research:

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the
White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln ’s secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named
Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was
born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was
born in
1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was
born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy,
was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named ‘Ford.’
Kennedy was shot in a car called ‘ Lincoln’ made
by ‘Ford.’

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran
and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his
assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their
trials.

And here’s the kicker…

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe,
Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with
Marilyn Monroe.

While Singapore has got their annual Zoukout dance festival to look forward to, we local party-goers will be able to get our mood reved up for F1 Team Renault Pit Party 2005 on the 29th October, 2005 at Genting Highlands. Many of you should have received rumors about the event by now. Official confirmations about the event have yet to be released but then it’s so gonna rock. Bringing back memories of Zoukfest, yeehaw! So pray hard and conquer the highland before set sailing to the shores of the Lion City and dance the night off with hot bikini clad Singaporean chio bus!

Manchester United was outplayed by Liverpool during Sunday’s match and we were lucky enough to get away with a goalless draw. Passings in midfield was pathetic and shaky fullback made the game so intense. Ferdinand was stoned, Rooney didn’t shine and Ronaldo’s deceiving tricks were seen through by Liverpool who clearly performed like the better team. And for that, Chelsea is now clear ahead of the table by 4 massive points. ARGH!!

Last but not least, I got tagged by Wei Mun and Sheak Li couple of days ago. Honestly, I’m not really a fan of such tags but guess it’ll do for now to keep myself occupied throughout this lazy evening of mine.

Zoukout 2005 @ The Lion City..

19

September

Actually, I was planning to blog about the heavy downpour earlier this afternoon and stupid management of LUCT who came up with such a bright idea of raising the food price even when it already is freaking expensive. But then, everything doesn’t seem to matter anymore, for there is only one and only occasion worth anticipating in, for now; ZOUKOUT 2005!

Informations regarding DJ line-ups and ticket price are yet to be released but you’ll find it here first for I will keep you guys updated whenever possible.. And what the hell are you waiting for?? Go pick up the phone and book your tickets now!

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

18

September

Sundays are always boring but today is an exception as brother finally brought home a copy of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children DVD with English subs by his very own friend! We both watched the whole movie in utter awe and the CGIs totally blow us off our minds. I never thought I’d live the day to see such flawless masterpiece and what seems to be best CGIs ever made in 21st century. Throughout the whole of 100 minute, I cannot help but to ogle at the TV like a retard with jaws dangling mid-air.

Seriously, Advent Children did reminisces the good ol’ times when Final Fantasy VII took the RPG world by storm in 1998. It was the first and probably the best RPG game I have ever played in my whole damn life as a gamer. I was so into the game I actually finished the game twice and defeated both Emerald and Ruby Ultima Weapons. I have 3 Gold Chocobos in my ranch and all characters with Level 99 to wreck havoc upon Sephiroth and mama Jenova. Complete set of limit breaks and summons, even KOTR.

Soundtracks and many other elements found in the movie are similar to ones in Final Fantasy VII. Totally beyond expectations and no words could describe how influential this movie will become. The DVD set will definitely be worth every single cent buying.

Also, falling in love and having fantasies of ‘cyber’ girls are unforgivable sins but I had no choice. Gorgeous looking Tifa and Yuffie and Aries totally swept my feet off the ground… They look just too good to be resisted not thinking of….

Ciao!

Edit: I just finished watching Advent Children for the second time and dad literally had his ass glued onto the chair throughout the whole time. He even used up his wee bit energy to watch the last 5 minutes of the movie before going off to bed. Kekekeke! Right… And now I’ve got some serious catching ups to do.. Assignment undone and it’s already 12:45am. Oops!
