Some Things You Just Can’t Defy

So Chelsea decided to go rampant and whipped Manchester United’s sorry ass 3-0 to retain their back-to-back league titles. It’s just a matter of time anyway. The fifth minute header by William Gallas was a real sucker punch and that was all that Chelsea needed to win the game. The Red Devils didn’t play with the same mindset they had before kickoff.

Wayne Rooney came close in scoring the equaliser but gone wide at far right post instead. From that moment onwards, only one team was playing for the deserving 3 points and that’s Chelsea. The match ended with subliminal goals from both Joe Cole and Carvalho. Rooney is now a major concern after breaking his right foot during a pursuit for possession with the latter who scored the third.

Hahahaha so much for party-pooping Chelsea’s celebration. Tsk, and now we have to win the remaining games just to be sure that Liverpool doesn’t take advantage of our slip-ups. I was at Hartamas Square to witness the onslaught and the crowd seemed pretty quiet throughout the whole night.

Anyway, Friday night I was off to Zouk for the second time in two consecutive weeks. Well, you should be startled cause that’s not the usual me who pretty much stays at home most of the time. Initially planned to go check out The Analog Girl @ Ah Mei who was performing at Terrace Bar. Not too bad actually, though I must admit I don’t really know how to appreciate her sort of music. Just as William mentioned, her style is very much the same as Bjork.

Analog Girl is actually quite cute, don’t you think? ;P

The blur image has got nothing to do with my vision/soberness during that night ;P We got there late and so we only managed to catch the final 30 minutes of Analog Girl’s set. Sat down and kick started the night off with a promotional bucket of Heineken beers. There was this CLEO Bachelor’s Party going on too at the Mainroom but then it ended not long after SO… everyone decided to get into the mainroom as well for a couple hours of RaySoo goodness.

William, Krystal and Chin.

Krystal and I.

Chin ‘feng-tauing’ or just being camera shy? ;P

Hahahaha and we actually finished three jugs of Long Island Tea in just twenty minutes. No, really! Everyone had bits of the three jugs but it was William, Roxanne and I who took the largest share among the group. Seriously, we downed everything so fast, I went tipsy for moments until the end of the night when we then adjourned to Jalan Alor for supper with Blink, Fono and co.

Krystal, Jace and Chin.

Krystal and William.

And yeah… I decided to crash over at Chin’s place for the night and wake up early morning nex t day just to get back home in time for breakfast with grandparents. Hahahaha but then as expected, I didn’t make it in time as I reached home at about 10:30am. William was still sleeping damn soundly when I left Chin’s place.

The beautiful neighbourhood of Bandar Utama.

HAIH…. Anyway, Chin’s place is damn awesome! I swear I’d pay just to crash over at her place. Beautiful scenery, quiet environment and pure relaxation just by sitting at the balcony, watching the skyline from 19th (or is it 18th?) floor above ground level.

Okay I gotta run now. Happy Labour’s Day and go party hard tonight, people!

Announcement: Akismet Spam Filter

April

It has brought to my attention that several comments by existing users have been filtered and thus having categorized as spam instead. This is quite a serious matter in fears of getting a stick from my viewers for they might think that I’m too lansi to actually reply to their comments. In truth, I really love people leaving comments but this has somehow or rather put a dent on my reputation.

I am not sure when this problem started surfacing but if by any chance did you leave any comments before this and not receiving a reply from me, much apologies! In any case that your nicely written is put into moderation, do inform me via MSN Messenger aights? Akismet Spam Filter is one nifty tool especially when it comes to filtering out the endless heart tickling spams but everything has got its’ flaws.

So in the meantime, just bear with me as I look into the problem, aights? Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Keep those comments coming in!!

Above & Beyond - Home

Here I come to find myself, catch the tide,
Looking for a peace at the end of the line.
Sometimes I can’t help myself, fever’s high,
I’m all at sea and so unwise.

I’m so afraid I’ll lose your love, as time goes by,
But courage is a fire and a beacon so bright.
The sunset built a memory, our love sign,
And all at sea we come alive.

Will I wash away, turning like a stone?
I need a place where I belong.
Call a setting sun to throw me down a rope
And take me to a place called home.

I close my eyes, I know you’re there, love of mine,
Standing on the shore in a world I design.
The sunset fires a lonely flare into the sky,
And all at sea we say goodbye.

Will I wash away, turning like a stone?
I need a place where I belong.
Call a setting sun to throw me down a rope
And take me to a place called home.

Looking for a place called HOME.

!56K WARNING! !56K WARNING! !56K WARNING! !56K WARNING!
Ultra long post with mega collection of hot pictures. Proceed at own risk!

11:30 in the morning and I’m still feeling brain-dead, thus letting mindless nonsensical ramblings slipping out of my mind without prior notice and letting the fingers run amok, typing all these out. So yesterday marks the end of my very much needed break, albeit a little tad too short for what seemed to have been the most happening holiday ever. It all ended well with sleepless nights during the weekend.

Speaking of which, the HORROR! The past week has flown by so quickly that I didn’t manage to lay a single finger on my assignments. My bag is full of dust and spiders spinning cobwebs around it. Hahahahaha but then it’s all good, cause I have minimal workload and will be able to get them completed even by tomorrow, that is if I start work by tonight le..

My weekend kicked off perfectly well with a slumber trip to Uptown, PJ at ungodly 9:00am (it’s Saturday, mind you). Had to help my brother do some swappings of audio player with another friend of his before coming back home just in time for breakfast.

I actually made my way to Kuala Lumpur for three consecutive times in the span of 9 hours. The first one being a social meetup with fellow bloggers at Midvalley. The gathering was initally planned at 2:00pm but I only got there at about 2:20pm. I was late but then fortunately not the last one to arrive. Hehehehe speaking of Malaysian timing wei!

Speed dating in progress, or at least it seemed like it. :P

Jolene was here.. But Jolene’s soup is still here.

Fireangel and Yee Hou signalling the start of camwhoring session.

People started walking in and the noise level at Dome started to escalate like there’s no tomorrow. The place was quickly filled with brawny, brainy guys and intelligent, eye-popping beauties and right before you knew it, the CAMWHORING war has begun!

The white label on everyone’s chest/breast.
Free publicity for you, Jasiminne!

Jasiminne and I.

While people go around socializing with the rest, I was trying very hard to memorize each of everyone’s name and blog URL that are gracefully written on the white label before finally giving up and joining them in camwhoring session. Hahahahaha.

Calvin, Yee Hou and Justin POSING.

Jolene and Calvin.

I couldn’t even manage to retrieve the exact number of attendees due to several reasons, and one mainly being too many people and they were all moving about everywhere. I tried to keep track of the mobile ones but then all of a sudden, the string of flashes came blinding me in just split seconds. I quickly regained consciousness, only to find that the people had spreaded and then I see two figures instead of one.

April actually brought one of her many towers of ear ring collections to be showcased and I must say that they are very adorable! Sigh, I would have bought the whole tower back home, only if I was a lady. Ranging from food to accessories and even *ahem* body parts! April does take custom orders so do drop by at her blog and check them out!

Yvonne, Karen, Julie and Weng Lum!

Elaine and Yee Hou!

Jasiminne and Cheesie!

There should be roughly about 30 of us. The original list had 41 people so I guess the outcome was pretty satisfactory. We spent RM200 alone just on drinks and probably another RM100 on food of those who hadn’t eaten their lunch. I didn’t get to take pictures with/of all the ones who were present though :(

And then CAME THE RECORD BREAKING BLOGGERS JUMP ALA SMASHPOP STYLE! Doing so was surprisingly fun and body-taxing. Not forgetting to mention that the scorching hot sun didn’t help at all as we were jumping around like newborn livings while those people sitting down at Starbucks staring at us, dumbfounded. WOWEE! Those who didn’t participate surely would have felt the tremor as we pulled off the BLOGGERS JUMP.

Should any of you want the pictures posted here in my blog, feel free to leave a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible, aights? I’ll compile them up and place a link here for all of the images in 640×480. Other updates on the blogmeet can be found at any of those who attended the event. Go check them out, yo!

that i shouldn’t bother with a lady
like you - you rock my world
yes you - my dim sum girl

watching…waiting…waiting for you baby
to tell me that I’m the guy for you and that you wanna be my lady
one day yes you will see - that I will always be
the one who will make fried rice for you for all eternity

Dim sum girl
you really rock my world
my dim sum girl
I never thought i’d find a
girl from northern china
who make me feel so good

Dim sum girl

I’m going to make it all right
we can party all night
so beautiful and pure

My dim sum girl

Why you gotta tease me, baby…
you’re driving me crazy

don’t play me like that, baby - please
just give me one chance

In the morning - at noon, at night
I think about you and it feels so right
so happy - when you look my way
when i talk to you you make my day
I see the tears in your eyes
please my baby don’t you cry
tomorrow is a whole new day
let’s me and you sing karaoke

Dim sum girl
you really rock my world
my dim sum girl
I never thought I’d find a
girl from northern china
who make me feel so good

we can party all night
so beautiful and pure

My dim sum girl

*Chike Raka Chike Raka Boom*
Happy (belated) Birthday !

4:30pm already and still raining cats and dogs here in Subang. Gah! I don’t recall this time of the year being the rainy season, but why does it rain almost every afternoon lately!? I can’t think of what to write at the moment. Still waiting for my brain to defrost after having downed the whole mug of beer last night.

Smalls the only one who layan-ed my camera! :”(

Chun Guan, Hui Ni and Krystal

Dinner at T.G.I Fridays in celebration of Jocelyn’s birthday was fun. Happening people they are, and such an interesting sight to see everyone indulging selves in more than one conversation at the same time. Smalls had a sniff of my Jack Daniel’s Chicken and went high moments after. Crowd was solely entertained by her loud cacklings and singing!

This is Ben, LOL-ing for some reasons!

Jared, David and Gavin!

Birthday girl was made to deliver a speech by standing on the chair so that everyone else could see her. Crew of T.G.I Fridays started chanting praises and round applause for her. Then came the inevitable birthday song, in which we delightedly screamed our lungs out before getting ourselves involved in other party’s celebration.

“Our birthday cake is better than yours. Damn right, it’s bigger than yours!”

Spent pretty much the whole night at Fridays’, The Curve before embarking on the journey to De Canter for a couple of drinks. Hahahaha yeah, and somehow we ended up gulping down 6 jugs of beer in an hour. Card game we played last night was addictive and lots of laughter in the expense of pride and reputation. Many stupid acts were pulled off and stares from other patrons can be felt piercing through my back!

Until I manage to steal some pictures from the rest who attended the dinner as well, here are the only pictures I snapped throughout the whole night.

SAY NO TO ALCOHOL! SAY NO TO ALCOHOL!

This is what 5% alcohol does to you. Just imagine 40%….*shudders*

Gavin layan-ing to Small’s drunken acts!

Chin, Hui Shan, Smalls and Jocelyn.

Birthday girl and I!

Have a great 20th year ahead, Jocelyn!!

As the Story Unfolds…

15

April

Morning shower of rain marks an excellent start of the day with an extra five hours of sleep. Eight grueling weeks of boredom have finally come to an end as the mid term break adorns the following week with many sleeping hours ahead. Sory but no partying, cause I spent RM200 alone just on printings of assignments and photos.

The sudden hiatus is uncalled for. Procrastination got the better of me and not forgetting that the housewife duty I’d been assigned to was unexpectedly body-taxing. Parents are away on vacation so I had to wake up at 6:00am to feed the dogs and take care of their droppings before disposing them in a nicely wrapped plastic bag.

The ample amount of free time I had was plain crazy. The presence of assignments was felt but I never thought of them as my top priorities. Well, that doesn’t mean I didn’t do anything about it but then because they are all easy peasy ones and easily completed with just few clicks of the left-mouse button.

Hehehehehe okay, maybe I needed a kick in the butt to start working on them but the fact that it never got me working my ass off, unlike the previous semesters that got me confined in the solid wall for nights.. Truth is, semester 4 is like a waste of time as we didn’t get to learn anything new. Moreover, the assignments given to us do not justify the skills and knowledge that we possess.

Again, the first half of semester 4 has flown by pretty much quickly and the assignments didn’t bother us at all. In fact, the printing costs of assignments and photos pose much bigger threat to us. No really, it costs a bomb and seriously capable of tearing your wallet apart.

The only thing I’m looking forward to right now is the return of my parents. They will be touching down on local soil tonight at 8:30pm.

Manchester United’s triumphant 2-0 victory against Arsenal was marred by a goalless draw with Southampton Sunderland. That leaves the Red Devils all but nothing in hopes of snatching the league title from champions Chelsea. 6 points is a massive gap, and 9 points simply means impossible if the Blues were to beat Bolton Wanderers in tonight’s game. But well, we all know they won’t, RIGHT??

Hmm.. I guess I finally come to know why many loves to photoshop their pictures before posting them up in their blogs. It can be quite fun also actually. Ehehehehe.

And to end this post, I hereby announce that the hiatus of this blog has now come to an end. Now all of you have to do is just pray that I cling on to my words and hopefully will enlighten my loyal blogders with some interesting photos!
