!56K WARNING! !56K WARNING! !56K WARNING! !56K WARNING!
Ultra long post with mega collection of hot pictures. Proceed at own risk!

How time flies especially when you’re having heaps of fun, only to find that we have reach to yet another end of a chapter. Right, so today’s my very last day to hibernate and recall the many wonderful memories over the past week. Supposedly, I’d go for the Recharge 50th Celebration @ Ruums but then Calvin’s SMS came a bit tad too late when I was already in my PJs and getting ready to sleep.

Cheng Sim’s back, Skyler, Chloe, Bryan and Kellster!

Rames, Ah Pop!’s colleague.

Jennifer, Joan and Avril! <3~~

It’s been way too quiet over here at Fractionize so I guess I’d enlighten you people with pictures of bloggers that I managed to snap yesterday. Only three months since we last had a social meetup, and yesterday was no exception about the fact that it was an enjoyable gathering. It is also very unfortunate that I didn’t get to personally talk to some of the attendees, and even more so not taking pictures with them. My bad, my apologies!

Ah Pop!, Calvin, Cheryl, Jennifer, Calvin and I.

Calvin getting it ON with Cheryl! *jealous*

Rames, Calvin and Evelyn.

Caught in action! It’s Fireangel, together with Kellster and Jolene. Penny also!

Unlike the first meetup, we didn’t have our “name tags” on this time around, as we pretty much know half the crowd already so it didn’t take us long enough to start camwhoring with one another. Was just waiting for someone to actually ignite the sparks before the rest follows, and strings of flashing cameras pointed at you within seconds. Instant celebrity, yo!

Cheng Sim, Rames, Bryan, Skyler, Linghezhi, Chloe, Ah Pop!, Joshua and Jolene.

Skyler, Chloe, Ah Pop! together with Cheng Sim and Joshua, Superman!

RHCP: Red Hot Chilli Padis! Kellster, Cheryl, Erin and Cheng Sim!

Another shot of the RHCPs.

Look at the amount of phohotgraphers! Hamsupnyer!

Can open camera shop already..

Turnout was good, and happy to see quite a number of new faces as well. Wonderful people, they are. And then again, I feel really remorseful having not gotten the chance to talk to some of those who were present as well.

Jolene and I!! My sifu in camwhoring, don’t pray pray!

Jolene, together with Tim and Wilson of LENGMOU!!!

Albert and Penny!!

Jasiminne, the penguin and I!

Jen who wants to punch me, myself and Joan!

Much gratitude to Jolene and Yee Hou for putting up with the hassles of gathering the bloggers and getting a reasonably good place to accomodate the rather large amount of people, I’d say. Venue could be better though, as Yee Hou pointed out on his blog about the place being a little too cramped but the lightings and props are somewhat nicely co-ordinated to compensate for our perfect camwhoring environment.

Calvin munching on his burger!

Evelyn also! Now I feel like eating burger :O~

Linghezhi’s friend and himself, Joan, Jason(Mumbles!), Jason(Pop!) and Jed.

Some blogger wanna-be. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Wah. Tim and Wilson damn shyok lor. You say LENG MOU or not ??

Without much hesitations, I hereby present you the list of attendees of the Bloggers Meet 2 at Burger King, KLCC on the 29th July, 2006. Proudly copied-and-pasted from Yee Hou’s blog. HAHAHAHA oops.. *scurries for cover*

There you have it. A total of 40 people who turned up for the blogmeet, and that doesn’t include those who actually tagged along and some others who decided to turn up as special guest appearances. Hehehehe so I’d say about 50 people that caused havoc and contributed much noise pollution to the already-noisy crowd at Burger King. Oh, and did I mention about the ’sticky’ floor that we were standing on? Don’t those janitors mop the floor or something cause I felt so disgusted having to walk around on that adhesive pavement.

Had to make an early move since I was supposed to join my family for dinner and then dropping Jolene, Chung Lern, Penny and Calvin back home. Okay maybe not Calvin cause he’s got his car parked at Carrefour earlier yesterday and took the train to KLCC with Jolene, Chung Lern and er… someone else! I forgot who liao. :X

So there, I got back home at 7pm and my family’s gone for dinner already so I had to eat with Vincent at Manhattan Fish Market before having a game of CS at Inferno. How lifeless! I swear I’m not getting addicted to the game once again, after having spent 4 whole freaking years gunning down getting gunned down by terrorists or planting C4s over and over again.

I had quite a number of plans lined up for the very last night of my holiday before it ends, but somehow everything just crumples and I was left with nowhere to go. Initially planned to go yum cha at Murnis but then same old excuses, so plan scrapped. Friends decided to pull out from attending the Jazzfest so I was left with nothing else but Ruums. Then Calvin decided to go to Ruums at the very last minute, as I have previously mentioned in the above post.

So guess what? I came back home and slept! DAMN HAPPENING WEI! *sob sob* Anyway, pictures for you people and for me too! Those who took pictures of me *Ahem ahem* Hahahahaha, do you mind leaving a comment here so I can rip copy them from your blog instead. Thanks in advance!

TILL WE MEET AGAIN, FELLOW BLOGGERS! Oh yeah, REMEMBER TO LEAVE A MESSAGE HERE SO I KNOW YOU’D ATTENDED THE MEET AND I WILL PERSONALLY SEND YOU THE PICTURES VIA MAIL OR MSN.

Love love Muaks,
Slinky.

Resuscitated and Ipoh Roadtrip

29

July

Right.. So it took more than just a kick in the buttock to get myself start typing once again. Fractionize is left collecting dust and I feel guilty for that. Now with so much to blog about, I don’t even know where to begin my post with. Life has been pretty mundane with the usual late nights, morning yum cha sessions and futsal on consecutive days! I can feel my ankle breaking down like my 6 year old Proton Wira liao.

Initially planned to skip enrolment session on Wednesday but I did turn up at college after all. Vincent was late as he came to pick me up, thus having reached LUCT at about 11am and the crowd was insane! We were forced to wait at the bursary for one whole freaking hour while playin musical chair as the queue spanned to 5 metres long. Good thing is that I’ve only four subjects this semester so that means I’ve got one day off for sure. Let’s just hope it’s going to be Monday/Friday so I get to enjoy my long weekend!

Pictures and complaints about the lack of updates are overflowing, but I will start off with the roadtrip to Ipoh last week before covering the rest of my holiday getaways this term break.

We had fun, albeit the lack of preparations that led us into an hour of walking around aimlessly, having no clues of our whereabouts. Much gratitudes and love to our tour guide, Patsyn for taking time in bringing us around the town and putting up with our mindless ramblings and not forgetting Li Leng who gave us directions on the phone!

The day kicked off pretty early, with me having struggled to wake up for breakfast with the rest after playing two hours of futsal the night before. Eugene gave me a call while I was still snuggling happily under the blanket, and that got me running amok as I scrambled around the house to get myself prepared. Pork mee for breakfast before embarking on our roadtrip to Ipoh was sinfully delicious.

Since it was my first ever trip to Ipoh, I was pretty much hyped up and got myself into the jakun mode. After going all crazy in the car and then fast exhausted not long after, we decided to make a quick pit-stop at the Tapar R&R on North-South highway and boy, was I amazed! Where else could you find pit-stops in the middle of nowhere with Baskin Robbins, Dunkin’ Donuts and KFC franchises?! The toilet is so huge, it’d easily house 50 people without having to touch each other’s shoulder while you take a leak!

It took us about two and half hours to reach Ipoh, with Jusco being our very first stop for entertainment. WRONG decision, as the place was plain dead and empty. So we blatantly voiced our displeasure and continued driving around before ended up at the old town that is famous for its’ white coffee. Didn’t bother me much since I don’t fancy coffee.

And due to zero knowledge about the town, we actually parked at one spot and walked AROUND the town, only to find that there’s nothing much about it. Even the parking ticket dispenser is so ‘high-tech’, it got us all excited because you don’t get to find any of those in Kuala Lumpur.

Proof of attendance!

Eugene together with his love, Rihanna.
.

I kinda regret not bringing my DSLR along because old town has got some of the most exquisite architecture that you can only find in Ipoh. We stopped by at this coffeeshop that still houses the old-skool marble table with high ceilings. So nostalgic wei!

Well, there isn’t much to do anyway since we walked around like idiots and had dessert at this really cute yet happening stall. Most fascinating is that fact that people actually queued up in cars in front of the stall, just like the normal drive-thrus you find at local fast food outlets. WOW!! You just can’t blame us for being jakun, can you?

Continued walking around and then stumbled upon another restaurant that serves beansprout chicken so we kasi hentam only! It was barely even half an hour and we were already in the restaurant, waiting for our food to be served. Yum yum! Apparently, this restaurant is quite famous, judging from the amount of pictures with celebrities being stuck on the wall; all taken with the owner of the restaurant. Hehehehe how I wished our picture would be pasted on the wall as well. *bummer*

The rest of the day was spent at the bowling alley with the rest having a game while me staring at the scoreboard blankly, waiting for Patsyn to come save us from Ipoh Parade. And yes, we are very thankful for that since we had absolutely no clue on what to do after that so she brought us around town before having our dinner at this shop, which I can’t seem to remember the name.

Curry chicken bun, it was! The food wasn’t too bad but then I couldn’t be bothered to snap any more pictures as we were starving like mad cows. Left Ipoh at about 8pm before reaching back KL in 2 hours time. Not too bad actually.

Hehehe and yes, not many pictures taken this time around. Well heck, I can’t even write properly and this post actually took me about 2 days just to be completed. I’m losing my blogging touch… *sob sob*

Anyway, tomorrow’s Blogger Meet at KLCC! All is invited! Come join us!

Keith Urban- Tonight I Wanna Cry

28

July

Alone in this house again tonight
I got the TV on, the sound turned down and a bottle of wine
There’s pictures of you and I on the walls around me
The way that it was and could have been surrounds me
I’ll never get over you walkin’ away

I’ve never been the kind to ever let my feelings show
And I thought that bein’ strong meant never losin’ your self control
But I’m just drunk enough to let go of my pain
To Hell with my pride let it fall like rain
From my eyes
Tonight I wanna cry

Would it help if i turned a sad song on
“All By Myself” would sure hit me hard now that you’re gone
Or maybe unfold some old yellow lost love letters
It’s gonna hurt bad before it gets better
But I’ll never get over you by hidin’ this way

I’ve never been the kind to ever let my feelings show
And I thought that bein’ strong meant never losin’ your self control
But I’m just drunk enough to let go of my pain
To Hell with my pride let it fall like rain
From my eyes
Tonight I wanna cry

I’ve never been the kind to ever let my feelings show
And I thought that bein’ strong meant never losin’ your self control
But I’m just drunk enough to let go of my pain
To Hell with this pride let it fall like rain
From my eyes
Tonight I wanna cry

And I Miss You So

09

July

Hey you. It’s been a while since we last talked. Where have you been? I don’t know what exactly happened but you seem to have just vanished into thin air. No words being uttered as you ran away with the love of those who care about you. Traces and memories removed without any conscience. Browsing through the pictures taken together with you puts a smile on my face, but it is more saddening to know that these are of the only remains of our short-lived friendship.

Funny as it may sound, but I dreamt of you the other night. The night that I was praying so hard to meet someone that really matters to me. Then I saw you right before my eyes, looking angelic as ever with that beautiful white dress. You seem happy, and your smile lightens up my mood. I tried telling you that but no words could do justification of what God has presented to you with that charming smile and beautiful bright-looking eyes.

And not long before I got to lay my right hand on your left waist as we exhanged glances, I was abruptly woken by the ringing alarm clock. I got snapped back to reality, in a world that such happiness is bound to be non-existence. I didn’t get to know you enough, and now it looks certain that I will never get a second chance to do so.

Then it got me wondering, if a person was to dream of his loved one only once in 30 years, would the person be willing to put himself into a coma, so that he will never wake up again and being able to spend the rest of the time with the person that matters so much to him? Definitely worth trying, I guess?

I do hope that you will come to your senses when you finally realize of your wrongdoings and picking yourself up on the floor to start anew. Nobody’s blamed you, and never will I. You have inflicted much pain upon us but now, you are killing us softly with the absence of you presence around us.

Take care and have a nice day.
