This draft has been deserted way too long so I guess it’s about time I blow the layer of dust off it and start blogging about Marco V outing! Not forgetting William who has been bugging me to blog about this since forever. Hehehehehe he actually dedicated a paragraph just for me! Go read his latest post and come back here with your goosebumps all soaring high up. Hahahaha!

So anyway, Godskitchen made another spectacular return here in the KL nightlife since Judge Jules and this time around, we had Marco V dishing out some progressive electro techy tunes! It was a great night, and I didnt had much problems getting into Zouk this time around! Calvin was there so his friend managed to bring me in without much hesitation. Thanks again, Kenny! Bumped into couple of familiar faces as well but I was there mainly for the music and friends!

William, Chin and Krystal were there since 9:30pm when I was still busy gulping down free flows of beer like a fish at the FHM Beach Party. It was pretty much a spontaneous trip when Calvin called me so I got home and quickly drove to Zouk to meet up with him. The crowd wasn’t too bad so it’s good! By the time I got there, Krystal was already glowing red with jugs of Long Island Tea spotted on the table.

Fono (or was it Ray Soo?) who then later announced that the mini autograph session would be held at the balcony on upper floor so off we ran to meet Marco V himself in person! William, as usual, brought his white t-shirt that is scribbled with autographs of various DJs. Hardcore sial. Having missed out on Judge Jules’, I decided to get one myself and got to shake hands with him. Hahahaha, felt so intimidated sitting right next to him though. The DJ aura… Longing to possess one myself!

It didn’t take long before he took over the decks and started drowning us with funky tech house… And then moving on to a much more progressive set to pump the crowd. We were damn happy since it started off VERY early, at about 11:30pm and so we managed to get high for 3 whole hours! I still remember both Eddie and Judge Jule’s sets kicked off freaking late and that I was already half gone by then.

So in between, there was the usual meeting new people, camgoloing, drinking and making a fool out of myself with stupid dance moves until…. UNTIL…. Marco V started spinning Red, Blue, Purple. I stood and glared right towards the deck with my lower jaw dangling. Not being able to utter a single word. Indulging self in the mesmerizing tunes of Red, Blue, Purple.. GODLIKE, as how William would like to describe the moment. It was HAVOC, yo!

Oh OH! And have I not mention anything about the return of laserworks? OOOOOOH… Double ONS wei! I remember my last three outings at Zouk, the projector was sent back to Zouk Headquarter in Singapore for repair works and it hadn’t been back since forever, until Voodoo’s Anniversary night, Gothic Wedding, which I didn’t attend… It was good, yo!

And from there, the music just went high and better with his chart-topping hits such as False Light and More Than A Life Away. Hahaha okay those are the only tracks that I can actually identify. As for the rest, you’d have to approach the walking Trance dictionary, William. I never sat down since then and just walked around having to juggle with two different group of friends.

It was fun though. Great night, great music with great people! I didn’t get to snap many pictures during that night anyway. Was too busy enjoying myself and getting deeply engrossed in the natural high of the thumping tunes of Marco V. Seriously, words do no justice to what we have experienced on Godskitchen nights, like ever. The second best thing to showing you are pictures and videos. Hehehehehe, have a great day people!

Last year, I remember celebrating my 19th birthday with a bunch of people that I’ve never met before. There were about 15 people and I only know 1 of them who happens to be my ex-classmate back in primary years at Sri KL.

And the year before that, I remember celebrating alone by counting down to my 18th birthday in front of the PC. Nothing fancy, with no alcohol and many other circumstances that resulted in yet another wasted birthday.

As for the rest of the 17 years, I don’t remember celebrating at all. Simply because I dont have any particular person or people to celebrate with. And the fact that birthdays to my family is just like any other ordinary days.

This year around, I celebrated my 20th on four different occasions, with the same people around and more. I may have met most of those whom I celebrated my birthday with only two months ago, but it doesn’t change the fact that I had the best time of my life and it made up to the amount of fun and happiness that I severely lacked of for the past 19 years.

Thank you all for the presents. Thank you all for the well wishes. Thank you all for the late surprises. Thank you all for spending time with me on my birthday. Thank you all for having to put up with my verbal shit and what nots. Thank you all for accepting me for who I am. Thank you all for being my friends! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Now, would you excuse me for I need to weep in tears of joy before I continue on with the post for today… *sniff sniff*

Yesterday was awesome. A surprise that left me emo-ing at Laundry.
Went to Mcdonalds for some nuggets with them.
And so I came home, feeling tipsy and STILL hungry.
Drowned in happiness, as I crashed on the bed.
Bringing the big grin being plastered on my face, together in my dream.

Woke up this morning, with the PC and light still on.
Mom came in, and started knocking me on the head.

OMG! That song is now seriously stuck in my head. After having dominated the chart for so many weeks, my beloved Rihanna has finally been dethroned as Justin Timberlake is now FIRST in “Slinky Top 3 Hits“, with Paris Hilton coming close on second spot! Hehehe RIGHT, and so I admit that “Stars Are Blind” is actually quite a catchy song and that it makes me feel all bubbly and lovely whenever I listen to it. Hahahahaha… Well for some reasons, that song is just so happifyingto me! *beams*

I just stumbled upon Jennifer’s latest post on her blog and I feel like grooving along to the infectious tune of Justin’s new single, Sexyback. There’s couple of choreography videos and be sure to check em’ out because it’s really awesome! The one above is the original videoclip, by the way. Not much dance moves are being featured though and that is such a waste cause Justin can really dance! Why oh why..

Gahhhhh! My posts are becoming more outdated than it already is, with tons of pictures continously piling up like my assignments. Jasiminne threw a surprise BBQ party on Sunday night and then there was Hardsequence’s One Year Anniversary at Ruums the night before. Hahaha I practically yawn almost every 10 minutes. Not my cuppa tea, I guess.

MORE ON THAT LATER! I’m suppose to blog about my past two outings at Laundry Bar so here goes the pictures. We had Deserters, Zalila Lee, Brainhead and Fathulistiwa Soundscapes performing on the first night (of me being there) but then we were there mainly for Shelley Leong instead. Hehehehe we even had a group picture together with her! *tumpang glamour* Kekeke, Shelley seriously is beautiful and you should meet her one day in person! Really nice and down to earth!

The night itself was really packed, and not surprising having bumped into so many familiar faces. Happening! The last time I been there was for the World Cup Finals and the atmosphere wasn’t even THAT euphoric. Somehow or rather, you just feel the uplifting vibe whenever you walk to the bar.

Second night wasn’t too bad either. In fact, I guess I enjoyed the latter even more since Laundry wasn’t packed to the brim and the fact that Rhapsody’s performing on that particular night! I remember the lead vocalist because she has performed at LUCT’s Glitz 2005 cum Battle Of the Bands. She’s got a really powerful voice and yet it amuses me as to how it actually blends nicely with the jazzy/blues tune.

Of course, the night wouldn’t have been any better without the bunch of crazy people that I’ve been hanging out with almost for the past month or so. MORE PICTURES FOR YOU!

I hate taking naps in the afternoons because I’d definitely wake up with a bad headache. And today is no exception as I dropped dead on the floor after having lunch with Eugene and Vincent. It started raining right after I got home and boy was it great snoring away on spine-chilling marble floor! Then I woke up feeling as though I was suffering from hangover and the loss of appetite for dinner.

Erk.. Last night’s outing at Laundry Bar probably contributed much on my haggard looks this morning, as I dragged my feet around the campus throughout the whole day, looking like a damn constipated zombie. Thank God for ridiculously yet beneficial short classes! Speaking of which, I’m gonna have my Advertising class out of the campus next Thursday as we would be making a trip to Uncle Lim’s Gallery Centre in KL. Haven’t been to that place tho’. It is t3h 4w3s0m3!

And so we’ve come to yet another weekend! Like nabeh oh.. A bit too soon, no? I have much to update on but then I was either too occupied with other plans or well… just plain lazy. Lunch with the happy bunch at BarBQ Plaza on last Friday was whole lots of fun and then there also was the last minute plan to attend the FHM 100 Sexiest Woman Party since brother actually managed to help us obtain VIP passes.

Nothing to boast about, except the fact that we had FREE FLOW of beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer. *rubs beer belly* Hahahaha shit but damn potong stim cause they actually ran out of beer two hours later! Like WTF man..

I just had my dinner by the way, thus all my energy is now concentrated on digesting the food instead of having to play a part in working my brain out for juices of flowery words and forming sentences. I’ll let the pictures do the talking, as always!

Moving on to the night itself. FHM 100 Sexiest Woman Party at Sunway Lagoon was held at the same venue as the Pussycat Dolls concert couple weeks ago. Crowd was unseemly small and honestly speaking, I’d gone home straight if it wasn’t because of the free flow of beer, as I have previously mentioned in the above. I was only on my seventh cup when they actually announced the heart-breaking news :(

However, I got to take a picture with the SEXIEST living woman on earth, Hannah Tan! And that probably made up much of my day…. *melts* Hahahaha. I can die a happy man now. I was blessed with the chance of having to do so because Francis Cobb, who happens to be my brother’s friend, knows Hannah Tan who actually recorded her album at his studio. Speaking of which, go stalk on her new album Crossing Bridges which is due to release next month! Her debut single “In Between” is very nice, and that her voice actually reminds me of Lene Marlin!

Gah! Weekend seemed so short, just when I was having so much fun and now that it’s over :( Spent pretty much of the time recuperating at home after a tiresome week filled with both parties and work. Thank the lucky stars for blessing me with extraordinary long weekends so I do not have to feel the Monday blues instead.

Great fun nonetheless. I could no longer keep track of time and day. As a result, I have TONs to write about and PLENTY of pictures to be resized so I could tell the whole World Wide Web what I have been doing lately. HOoooOOoo!

I meant to blog about Jazzfest but I’ve been too caught up with else things, so here goes the much anticipated post about it. I have also included pictures that I managed to snap last Saturday, and that was the very last night before the closing of yet another successful event of Jazz & Rhythm Fest 2006. Kudos!

The crowd was pretty massive on that particular night because Cosmic Funk Express was performing. Apparently, they are also disbanding/disbanded due to the fact that one of their members is returning home. It was a good night with uplifting performances that left the crowd asking for encores. I know it’s embarassing but that night was the first time I actually seen them performed, and unfortunate to say that it would also be the last one. I wish them all the best in their future undertakings!
