Right.. So I DID go for the Heineken ThirstStudio Afterparty on Friday night afterall. The crowd wasn’t too bad and CosmicSpaceMunkys were already spinning by the time we got there. I think I’m becoming really obsessed with Laundry Bar cause I see myself chilling over there week after week! That place is like everyone’s favourite hangout spot cause you’d eventually bump into people and have a good chat without having to worry about being alone. Wait, and when I say everyone, I do mean everyone..

I was there with Calvin, Bryan, Nat, and Nick before Kel Li dropped by after her Monash ball. Hehehehe initially planned to spend the night alcohol-free but then came a surprise when Calvin actually asked if we would like to buy a bucket. WOW! I was startled.. and yeah, I pretty much succumbed into getting myself a bottle (or two) along with the rest. Hehehehe the beer tasted bad for some odd reasons though. I think I had a wee bit too much over the past weeks so enough for the month!

Bumped into Jolene, Azrina, Diane and Azim! Hehehe I didn’t know they are friends of Bryan until he told me about it. Apparently they were from the same high school. Elaine was there as well, and I bet she had a great time, huh? Hehehehehe! Pei Shan was also at Laundry together with her friends to celebrate her birthday. Shan, you really should “go slow on your drinks”! Hahaha happy 19th birthday once again!

Ivan dropped by from his WCG Marshal appreciation dinner at KL and there he was together with Hugh and Pro-Hatch gang. Hehehehe I met Van as well. Hopefully I’d be able to attend to his gig this coming Thursday at The Loft, Zouk since I might be heading to Maison or Laundry (again) instead. GAH ! Decisions.. Decisions..

Other finalists and participants of ThirstStudio 06 took turns in performing but we didn’t stay long after and later adjourned to SS2 Indomee mamak for some hot steamy lala supper. Fuish, orgasmic I tell you! Hehehehehe Aaron was with us and we had a great laugh about… well.. Let’s just say we had a good chat.

And last night turned out to be a rather spontaneous trip to Hartamas for Chin’s belated birthday celebration. Apparently they located a new place to chill at and the price for the drinks are freaking cheap! Any 750ml bottle of your choice only costs RM250 and comes with three jugs of mixer. You also get free flow of tidbits and freaking cool retro interior to drool on! There are TVs that would come in handy especially during football season and free Wi-Fi access!

The place is pretty much secluded from the main area of Hartamas so that kinda explains the dull crowd and inactivity going on. It was 10:30pm on a Saturday night and we were like the only people in that bar. Hahahahaha but then again, I guess it doesn’t really matter, so as long you bring along your crowd and have a great time over there. DLounge is located at Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas and you can do bookings for private functions.

It was very unfortunate that I had to make an early move since I had to be back home early on that particular night. Been out way too often so Eugene and I left at about 12 midnight, but not without having to down 2-3 seconds worth of neat JD cause apparently I *lost* a bet to Krystal which I didn’t even take up in the first place.. So putih-putih kena minum! Hahahahaha but it was a good night, and Iylia had to arrive just when I was about to leave! Pfft.. Sorry dude! Will see you around some other time yeah!

Well done, Red Devils. You guys have just squandered another chance to retain your position and now Chelsea have climbed up the table, sitting comfortably on top of us! Sigh… Ronaldo’s equaliser was a well deserved one though. Reading on the other hand played fantastic football and so I guess the 1-1 draw did good to both teams. GAH!!!

Phew.. Submissions from Wednesday till Friday for past two consecutive weeks. Guess I can finally let off the gas pedal for brief moment and take a decent breath. I just had another one handed in today. Other assignments underway looking good so far but then bloody tight deadlines are making it tough at the very same time. Am still hanging on though. Erm, well it’s not like I had a choice of letting go anyway.

Hehehehe I actually made someone go salivating all over her keyboard :P Basically, these two were by far the most time consuming assignments I had to deal with because we had to travel and snap our very own pictures instead of just ripping it off the net. I guess I done well enough to convince my lecturers and therefore, I feel contented.

Sometimes I really do wonder how it feels like waking up to mellow sounds of chirping birds. Sounds like one of those many typical lines you usually write back in your high school english exams, no? Hehehe I don’t know because I have never experienced it before. People wake up to their annoying alarm clock but I have to put up with fucking mind wobbling bullshit and screamings. Works wonder though cause it never fails to fucking throw me off my bed and quickly wash myself up so I could get the fucking out of the house as soon as possible.

Sigh. Don’t worry about it. I guess I’m fine enough to continue showering you with my very own bullshit. Hopefully I don’t drive you away just like how I was pushed off the cliff at most of the times. I’m tired of it.

After for what had happened, I now suffer from slight paranoia over getting my car parked by the side of ramps and highrise buildings cause you might just see cars falling down from the sky and making human juice out of your crushed body. You never knew…. Hahahaha, no it’s not funny. I believe you should know that this is not the FIRST time that actually happened in the span of, say, two months? Another case occured in Penang but surprisingly the victims survived the plunge.. Not so lucky for this lady though :\

Even with the rush against deadlines, I managed to keep my cool and decided to see Zhao Heng off at KLIA on Monday night. I might have only known him for less than half a year but it’s better late than never, I suppose. Hehehehe and E-Guy left for UK as well! He didn’t tell me about it :( My best primary friend ever! Basically everyone from Nottingham Uni was there and HALF of them left Malaysia too. Sigh… All the best to you both!!

The entrance of Thirst Studio 06: Meet You There!

Wow! Heineken Thirst Studio 06 actually turned out much better than I expected it to be. In fact, I think I had much more fun when compared to Speedzonetour 2006 (will blog about it later). Music was orgasmic and crowd wasn’t too bad either. Venue could have been better though, albeit the pretty cool settings and various entertainments to try on. Not to mention, the floor was wet as it rained before the event so it was damn slippery.. Pretty dangerous!

It was pretty much a spontaneous trip to see Groove Armada because nobody was keen on going. Some people pulled out like they always do, so that left me with nobody to attend the party with. But then again, it’s a Heineken event… How can I not be there and show my preferred beer some lovin’ and support? So I ended up going with my sister in the end… Hehehehe desperate, I know *beams*

Moreover, I had free tickets so it would be a waste not to attend the highly anticipated event. With that, I actually saved up RM50 and spent it on my very own 2 buckets of beer instead. Unlike the Deep Dish event at Zouk last year, I couldn’t get free flow this time around but I couldn’t be too greedy, can I?

The OMI Lounge

Many thanks to Yee Ket for the tickets but I only used two since Joel couldn’t make it for the event at the last minute (yes, you’re one of them as well!) Hahahahaha.. One was given to Mellissa’s friend, and the other is still in my wallet.

Sister and I reached at about 9:30pm when Futon was already in the midst of performing. We could actually hear them while waiting for the free shuttle service to pick us up from the foot of KL Tower. Thank goodness we were there early cause the queue spanned across the road like MINUTES later. Where the hell did everyone come from all of a sudden??

The AJ Hacketts Bungy.. Havoc!

The crowd was still bearable but it took us quite some time to navigate around the area cause of the site layout. There were free stencil walls for patrons to showcase their graffiti skills on and AJ Hackett Bungy to get your adrenaline rush kicking. I was tempted to try on it but knowing me, I’d probably die of major stroke and ‘CHI KIK‘ overdose. Not for the feint hearted ones like me. Hehehehe!

Bars were aplenty so that made buying drinks a whole lot easier. Not much walking needed. Washrooms are always a problem especially when it comes to big events such as these. Long queues are common but then I don’t understand why there weren’t any portaloos being set up?? There was only ONE freaking washroom available and they expect 7000 party people to share? Points deduction for that!

CosmicSpaceMunkys packed quite a bit of surprise as their set was exceptionally good and casted life on the crowd who was moving throughout the whole night! Joey G and Bobo’s collaboration are not uncommon, but they’ve done a pretty good job, to say the least. I actually enjoyed to their set very much before Groove Armada came on. The restless crowd turned havoc and the rest that happened is now history.

The alcohol started kicking in and people flooding the main arena just to catch a glimpse of Groove Armada so I had to move out to catch some breath air instead. I never bothered making my way back to the main arena after that as I walked around and coincidentally bumping into so many people! Wei Mun and Lis were there as well, together with their friends. Jess, Eveline and her boyfriend also turned up for the event. Then there was Samantha who actually knew Sonia, Krystal, Roxanne and friends as well. I also bumped into Hugh right before I left. Pfft..

The event ended at 2:00am sharp but we decided to stay back for a moment while we waited for the crowd to disperse. Sister and I managed to hitch a ride from Yee Ket who has got VIP parking so we didn’t have to wait for the shuttle or WALK all the way down. Thanks again!

Hehehe and right before we left, I bumped into Renee as well who was together with her friends. I was slightly intoxicated already so I didn’t get to talk to her much cause the only thing in my mind back then was SLEEP! I was dead tired and I didn’t get much rest the night before after Eugene’s belated birthday celebration.

And well, that was when the whole drama begun. You see.. Apparently some fella was assaulted by a group of people. For whatever reasons, I do not know. But the next thing I remember was him crashing his Hyundai Getz onto my sister’s car in attempt to run away from those fucking bullies. We both were caught off-guard. The culprit did stop in front of the Pondok Polis as we talked things out.

Fortunately, he took responsibility of the damage and my sis will be sending her car to the workshop later in the afternoon to assess the cost of damage. The incident happened at about 2:40am at the Jalan P.Ramlee traffic light but we ended up reaching home at 6am cause we had to lodge police reports and such. Fucking troublesome…

Because of that, I woke up with a hangover cause I didn’t get to sleep much and went out for lunch with Eugene, Vincent and Joel instead. Sigh… Could have been one of the more enjoyable nights so far but the whole dramatic incident marred a great one. I’m just glad that everyone is fine and that the culprit turns out to be a very nice guy too. I’m only puzzled over the sudden assault by other crazy fucks against him… Not sure what he did but I don’t wanna know either..
