And so the much anticipated outing with the Family of Five and whole other bunch of friends have come and gone. Hours of good music, flowing alcohol and constant bumpings into friends sum up to an absofuckinglutely good night. While some left early and the rest got high on alcohol, I was stoning on the couch, due to the fact that I’m never a fan of RnB’. Moreover, the visit to gym before that pretty much left me deflated throughout the whole night.

Oddly enough, Maison was packed to the brim on that particular night so it didn’t help at all. Walking around was a hassle and getting into the club itself was bad. Everyone seemed to be on gueslist except for me. Bryan managed to get in under his friend’s guestlist as well, but I had to pay cover charge first, so that I could get in and use the washroom… HAHAHAHA!

I didn’t really get to drink much on that night itself since I was driving. Everyone was there to pip on the drinks that we bought for an early kick start. Didn’t quite work since the three jugs lasted merely for 10 minutes so Joel, Bryan and I bought another three jugs for ourselves.

For the short moment, I was indefinitely tipsy but then sobered down way too quickly. But then again, the drinks for the night were a lil tad too mild for my liking as it didn’t have much OOMPH factor in it. What a waste of money! And Joel, you still owe me RM40 for the jug that you… discharged towards the end of the night! ;P

Aights. I guess it’s about time I get my ass cleaned up before heading down Midvalley for Casino Royale with colleagues and friends. Hehehehehe, in fact I’ve actually watched it already but thank my current job for FREE complimentary passes :) It’s a good show anyway so I don’t mind watching another time, for the sake of EVA GREEN! *drools*

Sitting comfortably at top three of DJMag Top100 poll, Armin van Buuren was in town to terrorize our local clubbing scene once again in a frantic night at Zouk KL. After having knocked Tiesto off the second spot, Armin then proved to us once again why he deservedly so, or perhaps even more as the crowd went crazy with his ever uplifting set.

I didn’t expect myself to be there, knowing how crazily packed Zouk would be especially when it comes to highly acclaimed international superstar DJs. Armin obviously isn’t an exception but I eventually succumbed to the overflowing anticipation in me. SO, yeah I went there on my own and met up with Chin, Rachel, William and Krystal.

I was earliest amongst them as I reached at 10pm and boy, already a crowd there was. The queue certainly was growing in length but Chin and I had Fono to thank for as he brought us in. Wouldn’t have been without him so thanks a lot! And yeah… I probably would not be able to thank him enough for all the times anyway. But… thanks again!

So anyway, we settled for two bottles of Black Label and it cost us a fortune. I’m sorry William I couldn’t fork out more than what I had in my wallet. I’d pay you extra when we meet again, aights?

The raining trio once again! Thank goodness it didn’t rain that night itself..

Seeming how early it was and Fono immediately got up to the decks for the warm-up set, I decided to have couple of drinks but eventually ended up drinking more than what I initially plan to. Hehehehe and came more drinks towards the end of the night. Fortunately, I was hardly intoxicated since I had a long break during the interval of Armin’s set.

Then my next mission was to give both Nat and Kel Li a surprise since I believed that they didn’t know about my surprising attendance. Sadly, it didn’t work as I was the one caught offguard instead. Hehehehehe! They both were ecstatically happy when they saw me. I wonder why ah? HAHAHAHAHAHAH! Okay enough of that.. Just kidding by the way.

Those two managed to get in through media pass but they had to work quite a bit, walking around snapping pictures of the crowd and Armin van Buuren himself. Well, at least they both seemed like they were enjoying themselves though.

The music picked up towards midnight as Fono prepares to make way for Armin himself who took over the decks by 12:30am. Fono’s warm-up set was freaking awesome, IMHO! Everything was going so well until Armin decided to drop the tempo for his own opening set. Hahahahaha it was a bit of a turn-off as things went down from there but I suppose he made it up to that not long after.

It was also reportedly said by William that there was this huge commotion going on in Penang as a trailer overturned on the bridge that leads to the mainland itself. Therefore, his godbrothers were stranded in a very bad traffic congestion but we are glad that they actually made it just in time for Armin’s set. Hehehehe come to think of it, I think they were actually speeding down south like speed devils to actually be able to reach KL in less than two hours??

The last hour or so was simply orgasmic as Armin started dishing out awfully familiar tracks and all the more better as we got to sing along with the tunes of it. Kyau & Albert’s Are You Fine, Gabriel & Dresden’s Tracking Treasure Down and Ronski Speed’s The Space We Are, to name a few.

Everything was just elevating from 2am onwards, from the crowd atmosphere to the pure satisfaction. However, the soberness from the people that we were together with went other way round instead. Hehehehehehe! Pictures tell everything so you’d get a clearer view and notice the differences ;P

The night ended with a bang, and I guess everyone was much happier compared to his set back in last year. Heard it was nowhere impressive at all. I had fun this time around, and most importantly the company I was together with. Hehehe and that includes my brother who surprisingly turned up in Zouk when he said that he would be going Poppy instead. Must be keeping an eye on me le, bugger…. But I’ve been a good boy so don’t worry! *puts on halo*

Sigh, but I suppose we could blame that on the immensely huge crowd that witnessed the Armin magic that night.

Zouk was packed to the brim, I could barely move around without grazing my chest against someone else’s… Oh wait, that doesn’t sound like a bad thing after all! Hahahahaha… Credits to Fono and the rest who were there again for yet another historical and memorable night at Zouk KL. It was great meeting up with William and his godbrothers after for such a long time.

Last night outing was pretty much as spontaneous as my other trips to KL on other occasions. Armin van Buuren sent us into a state of trance with his ever uplifting set, despite having to coming across some hiccups during both start and end of the night. Am just hoping that everything’s fine now and most importantly, everyone had fun!

Right. And so I broke my very own promise of not blogging at work. Hehehehe, I just can’t help it since there isn’t much to do at the moment. Am currently idling now so might as well make use of my spare time ;P As expected, my first day of work ended unproductively even after having came up with two microsite designs for the upcoming contests on Xfresh website.

It was a rather slow start of the day with just few of us at the office doing our usual stuff. Everything’s been good and I’m actually enjoying my life here as an intern at Xfresh. I actually received four goodies on my first day at work. How cool is that!
