This sign never fails to crack me up! Spotted it at a printing shop along Swanston Street.
Won’t be around for the weekend so behave, my fellow friends! Cheers!

Being unusually curious, I decided to google on the customary trick or treat? phrase and realized how much fun we’ve been missing out on all these years. Not that it is a tradition we Malaysians would practise besides finding an excuse to get wasted on alcohol or dressing slutty scary when night falls. But hey, I ain’t complaining!
While this year is no different when it comes to Halloween, some decided to dress up to the occasion and well, it actually turned out pretty fun! All I had was a pirate red bandanna with an eye patch which made me nauseous for some odd reasons.
Unfortunately, we didn’t managed to snatch a table as it was sorta last minute plan and some needed alcohol to de-stress after long week of hard work. We were expecting a quiet night and boy, were we wrong. Those people don’t seem to be worrying too much about the upcoming examinations!
Then of course, I’m one of the few who are unfazed by that since we’re done with our semesters for the year already! Okay, more like DONE with my degree, but that I can only confirm when the results are out on the 1st December. Scary berry…
Anyway, pictures! I shall let you decide on who turned up with the best dressed/make-up and would you kindly CAST YOUR VOTE on my tagboard! Winner gets a kiss on the cheek and a mention here on my blog!
Yeah I know. I get to purchase a bottle after another, just cause I’m a pirate for the night. And no, pirate doesn’t necessarily have to drink rum ALL THE TIME… I’m different ;P
OH no. The guy at the back IS an actual bouncer, not someone who dressed up as StoneCold Steve Austin.
Chloe bunny, Esther nurse and Claire the red devil!
Derek, who looked like he spilled red wine on his own shirt… Hahaha!

Probably one of the best parties I ever had in a while! With INCOGNITO as theme of the night, what is there to not love? A reason to go wild without people recognizing you is just simply brilliant, though I didn’t really succeed in concealing my identity for the night. Hehehehe but it’s great to see how everyone dressed up and letting loose after a hectic semester.
There were tears of joy and cries of sorrow as we approach the next phase of life as unemployed ones. Free flow of beer made the night even more unforgettable, though it is rather disappointing that the taps ran dry pretty early. Hey, what do you expect from paying just 20 bucks for a blast, no?
The venue of the night was quite a surprise, considering I haven’t been there before. Alia Bar is located right at the corner of Smith Street and Gertrude Street. If you know where the Crumple shop is, then it should be a problem sniffing Alia Bar. Interior is nothing to shout about, though the place itself is relatively quite big, allowing navigation around the bar be much easier.
Enough of babbling, for now I hereby introduce to you, the characters of End of Year Party: INCOGNITO night!

We as mere beings never fail to amuse ourselves, don’t you think?
We live in the present days, worrying too much about future, only to regret what’s left in the past.
I just need time to think things through. And it will be the final decision.
“When you change your mind, you know where to find… me.”
Sunlounger feat. Kyler England – Change Your Mind
Whoah! Surely has it been an eventful week for me. Time surely flies, even more so when you’re having fun. And today is rather productive with me having stayed at home just to clean up the house! Didn’t realize I had so much shit lying around from the post-submission datelines but now they’re all gone once and for all!
And because everybody else is at Clayton, I cooked dinner today and well, watched Hancock on my trustworthy laptop! Now that I’ve got nothing to do, just thought of uploading some of the pictures I took back then at St. Kilda beach. Better late than never, ay?

Sirens of the sea, no?

Yes. I’m talking to YOU. Stop butting into OUR issues, ass?

“Just let your fears go, you might find your way back home”
Sunlounger feat. Zara – Lost

Glamour shot kao kao.. But I must admit it’s a bloody damn nice picture of Vincent..

I have the sudden urge to rant but I shall spare you guys for tonight :\ Hehehe have a good sleep and waking up to a brand new week, friends!
Cheers…
After for what had happened in the past semester, I couldn’t sleep the night before as the inevitable beckoned. The feeling of butterflies in my stomach and anxiety at the same time didn’t go so well together. I closed my eyes but the mind was still working on fifth gear in the dark.
27th October 2008 is one day to remember for the rest of my life as the very last Monday itself marks the end of my Bachelor of Design degree course here in Melbourne. A year and a half, just like that. I eventually woke up to the sound of the garbage man emptying the bins at 7 in the morning. I’m just feeling thankful I didn’t miss out on my snooze AGAIN.
Hoping to make the best out of a beautiful day, I decided to leave the house at 8AM only to get struck by an unfortunate tragedy. The handle of the Country Road bag which was housing my entire collection of work GAVE WAY, sending my packaging work crashing onto the tarmac floor. It was heart-wrenching but there wasn’t anything I could do.
Thankfully the damage wasn’t severe, though it could probably cost me dearly from achieving a distinction. Reached uni at about 9am with almost everyone present by then. Wasted no time in displaying my work and filling the submission forms for respective assignments. A glimpse of everyone clearly shows that I wasn’t the only one who were sleep deprived!
Having spent the whole morning running about and looking at other works before bidding farewell to Building 88 once and for all, we decided to uphold the tradition of paying our favourite neighbour Workshop bar for drinking session! Then of course, about 15 of us went for early lunch at Melbourne Central before making our way back to Workshop, only to be greeted by the whole faculty there! Oh, how am I not surprised…
Let’s just say that I had slightly more than what I usually could take, I spent the whole day recuperating… Followed by a hangover in the ungodly hours of Tuesday morning (2am!) Something I probably shouldn’t be too proud of but you know.. you don’t get to do this all the time, especially not back in Malaysia. Hahahaha..

I’m so gonna miss everyone who is leaving and times like these! :( More pictures to come from my End Of the Year party at Alia Bar, Fitzroy as well as Ivy’s BBQ birthday party and Halloween at VII! I also realized that this entire week has been dedicated solely to parties only. I’m gonna die at the age of 65.
Stay tuned! Take care and nights nights!
